How long does it take to chant the Buddha to have induction

Reciting the Buddha is a very good thing, we must be serious and respectful when we practice, we can recite and practice the Dharma at home, so that we can quickly improve. Everyone has a predestined cause, and there must be an induction in reciting the Dharma so much, and the way and time when everyone obtains the cause is not certain. Let's take a lookThe induction of reciting the Dharma

The induction of chanting the Buddha

In the early morning of November 30, 1993, the 84-year-old father died at the home of the fourth brother in Taoyuan. When I learned the news, when I rushed from Changde to my fourth brother's house, my father's body was already parked in the funeral home. As soon as I entered the mourning hall, I was told to tie the body with a black rope that would bring my feet closer together, and I did.

In order to wait for other relatives to come to pay respects, the body was parked in the funeral home for two days and two nights, and I sat next to my father's body and kept reciting the holy name of Amitabha Buddha in my heart. Because it was inconvenient to read it out loud at that time, I had to recite it silently in my heart, and I continued to recite it for two days and two nights, and it did not stop until the cremation on the morning of the third day.

When the body was transferred to the hearse, a friend who helped carry the body told me: "Your father's joints in his hands and feet are very flexible, which is rare. ”

I listened and thought to myself, this is the effect of reciting Amitabha, but I don't know why it is.

After finishing my father's funeral, I returned to Changde. I didn't sleep for two days and two nights, and I didn't wash my face and mouth, and the first thing I did when I got home was to wash. My 4-year-old grandson followed me into the kitchen. He said to me, "Grandpa's straps on grandpa's feet are not light or heavy. ”

I was very surprised when I heard this, I had not yet said anything about the funeral when I got home, and he was not at the scene, so how could he know that I was not wearing a belt lightly or lightly? So I asked him, "How do you know?"

He said, "What my eyes see!"

I asked, "What else do you see?"

He said, "Many, many Buddhas and Bodhisattvas sprinkled nectar water on Grandpa. ”

At this point, it dawned on me that my father's body was still soft and not stiff after being parked for two days and two nights in the low temperature of winter, and it turned out to be the result of the Buddha and Bodhisattva sprinkling nectar water on his old man's house to moisten it.

My grandson's childish words were by no means made up by him, and he could never have made them up at his young age, let alone what nectar water was, but the Buddha and Bodhisattva showed him the situation there, and through the "myth" he said, he told us an unquestionable truth: as long as you sincerely recite the Buddha, you will have a feeling, and the Buddha will never make people recite in vain. The more you recite it, the more nectar you will receive, because Amitabha Buddha is the king of nectar. It is no wonder that some eminent monks have many relics that are cremated after death, which is the result of the condensation of nectar.

This is a very special merit sensation of reciting the Dharma, and we must be serious when we practice the Dharma, and after reciting the Dharma, we have to dedicate ourselves.
