Master Xin and Vow: Amitabha Buddha’s forty-eight vows, the 41st vow to reveal the merits of enlightenment, and the vow to possess all the senses

Forty-first vow, all the senses are full

If I become a Buddha, the Bodhisattvas in other countries will hear my name. As for those who become a Buddha, those who are lacking in their roots and do not have complete knowledge will not attain enlightenment.

Song said

If a person is famous and wants to be reborn or even attains the path to Buddhahood

Continuous troubles and purify all the senses of the true body and body

1. Make the names of all wishes

There are six names for the vows made by the masters in this vow: Fame and dignified wishes [Yiji] All the acupoints have the wishes [Dharma position, quiet illumination, true source, ritual, profound and severity, thorough observation, and hidden Taoism] Famously, the Buddha possesses all kinds of roots [wisdom light, good source] Enjoy all kinds of aspirations [Dharma Ran, Hui Cloud, Moon Pearl] All the roots and appearances are wonderful wishes [Jingxing] Famous and roots are the wishes [Sea of Nature].Now, Master Jingzhao adopts the name "all senses have full wishes".

2. Wish to achieve success

There are two articles:

Those who hear the sound will obtain a deep Dharma endurance, and will not regress. When they reach the Buddha's path, their ears will be clear and will not suffer from suffering. When they see their colors, their ears will be heard, their nose will know their fragrance, their tongue will taste its taste, their body will touch its light, and their mind will all obtain a deep Dharma endurance, and when they reach the Buddha's path, their six senses will be clear and there will be no worries.

Ananda, all sentient beings who are born in that country have thirty-two characteristics, and have wisdom full of them. They have penetrated into all dharmas, and have great cleverness. They have clear and sharp powers. Those with dull roots can achieve the two patiences. Those with sharp roots can obtain the incomprehensible endurance of the Dharma.

5. Show your willingness

Why did Bodhisattva Dharmazang make this vow?Among all the Buddhas, there are sentient beings in the Buddha land who have heard the reputation and developed aspirations and practiced the Buddha's path, but they have no sense of the body and mind, and their bodies are blind and do not see the true ritual, deaf and do not hear the sound of the whole, and are dull and chanted, unable to preach the Dharma, and cannot smell the fragrance of the faith;The feet do not go to the spiritual field, and the hands cannot be clamped together.The mind is the eyes that face the Buddha, do not see the true realm, and face the Buddha's image, and do not think of kindness;If you hear the Dharma, you will not understand the One Vehicle, listen to the Buddha's vows, and you will not be able to produce faith and happiness;If the body does not worship the Buddha, the mouth does not call the Buddha's name, the heart does not seek benevolence and righteousness, and the hand does not turn the scriptures.Such a person will only live and die, and will bury his own soul.

Therefore, Bodhisattva Dharmazang, who pitys all sentient beings and develops Bodhi, has all the roots of ignorance, or has no roots, has cultivated his own blessings and wisdom and returned to sentient beings, and made this vow: "All Bodhisattvas, who have heard my name, even become Buddhas, and their body and mind have no shortcomings."

Anyone with the six senses is full of the wonderful power of this vow, but if all the senses are complete, why not quickly gain faith and seeking the way to recite the Buddha's grace?If you do not have the roots, you should recite the Buddha's name even more. Only betrayal but not enough, and don't worry about your lack of form.The Buddha's wishes are to capture all kinds of things and have nothing to abandon. The merits of reciting the Buddha's name are only trustworthy;The treasure mountain of Buddhism is only faithful;Amitabha Awakens the Moon, only faith is water;Tathagata came to prosper, but faith was the cause;Bodhisattvas save lives, only faith is the fate;Therefore, the ancient genius said: "To be reborn in the Pure Land, you must be faithful and ignore the outside world."

6. Dispel doubts and disturbances

Question: Which Bodhisattva is the one I refer to?

Answer: It should be the Bodhisattva who stays in the previous and the three kalpas, so the Bodhisattva in the realm has not been free from his roots.If one reaches the level of the six dharmas according to the teachings of the Shravakas, one can attain the six dharmas and attain the timing of the roots and concentration, and possesses this virtue, so one knows that in the three kalpas, one can possess whether it is not or not;If you follow the Bodhisattva's teachings, there is no uncertainty among the ten faiths. The third monk kalpa still has not yet escaped from all the senses. Only after a hundred great kalpas can you achieve the five virtues. The Abhidharma-kosha says that the Bodhisattva who has settled in concentration will attain the five virtues: Be born in good places, Born to be a family, Have a superior root, Received to male body, Remember fate.

Question: If you hear the name of the Buddha and all the senses are complete, why is Anaru blind?

Answer: Show the blame for sleep, to warn the next generation, to replace the naked eye and obtain the heavenly eye, isn’t it convenient to save life?

Question: The Medicine King burns his arms, endures humiliation and dispels his limbs, and cuts his arms with wisdom, and loses his eyes. Why not enter this wish?

Answer: The Medicine King burns his arms, uses the method of showing heavy weight to show the two emptinesses;To endure humiliation and dismemberment of limbs to express to endure humiliation, and eventually reveal emptiness;If you seek Dharma, you can meet Bodhidharma and find peace of mind to show your ancestors' position;The true jade appears blind, making it difficult to escape the karma and guide everyone.All of this is the teaching of Bodhisattvas to return to their appearance and the manifestation of benefiting sentient beings. It cannot be regarded by ordinary people as rewarded.

7. A brief explanation of the wish text

「Those who hear my name will undoubtedly recite it when they hear the Buddha's name.

「Those who have all the roots are lacking and terrible, the "Amitabha Sutra" says: "All the roots are the six senses, and they are not lacking, and those who are crude and evil are despicable."Although there are six senses, they are deficient and ugly, which means that all the senses are deficient and ugly.The lack of all the roots and ugly appearance is one of the eight difficulties.Deaf, blind, dumb, broken limbs, crazy, idiot, ugly, no one will get tired of it.If a person who practices Taoism does not possess all the senses, sentient beings will not admire his virtue. Therefore, the Great Wisdom Treatise says: "A ugly person speaks the Dharma, but those who hear it are not good."Therefore, Buddha respects his appearance and shows his appearance as an adult. Is it the ordinary heart that is decorated with?When practicing the holy path, the Bodhisattvas who are the only one who are the third god, still have the obstacles of defects, so they are more serious than a hundred kalpas, and they are good karma, let alone ordinary people?Now that I heard the Buddha's name, all the senses are complete, it is the difficulty of thinking of this wish.

8. A brief explanation of vernacular

If the Bodhisattvas in other lands heard my name and recited them, they will eventually achieve Buddhahood, if they have any defects in the roots and are not fully realized.
