The Buddha told him, this good man, who did this good man say?Let’s talk about Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.The Buddha introduced Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva to him and told Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Jianjingxin that you should not have any thoughts about your superiority and inferiority. Do you know Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva?Since this good man developed the Bodhicitta, he has gone through countless and boundless and incredible kalpas.It is said that the Asankhya kalpa is infinite and boundless, and it is incredible and without time. It is too long.He has been able to save Saba Ruohai for a long time, and he has long become a Buddha.In the sea of all wisdom, if Sarva turns over all wisdom, the sea of all wisdom will satisfy the merits.
Then why hasn’t he become a Buddha yet?He is free according to his original vow.Because his vows are to save all sentient beings and achieve Bodhi. I think every fellow practitioner of ours remembers these two sentences, and he will not become a Buddha without being empty in hell.How do I explain these two sentences?How do you explain?I'll explain whether you think it's right.Hell is originally empty, Ksitigarbha has become a Buddha for a long time, and Buddhas and Bodhisattvas show various bodies, so he should show Bodhisattvas who are saved as Bodhisattvas.Look at all Bodhisattvas, they are all wearing at home clothes, those with hair, all wearing garlands, covered with jewelry, full of treasure.Which Bodhisattva is not full of treasures!Those treasures are priceless treasures. I am afraid we can't buy them, and they are not treasures from the world.
Why does Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva shaved his brain?Among the Bodhisattvas, only Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva appears as a monk, which is extremely special.Therefore, this passage proves that he has emerged according to his original vows and should not be regarded as true.Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva developed the Bodhicitta from him and practiced the Bodhisattva path. After that time, he could not calculate it.Asankhya has no central number, no numbers.If you spend countless kalpas on this digit without numbers, don’t count it based on the number of time and place.Because when all Bodhisattvas appear, they mainly show their appearance, because they can benefit sentient beings and save sentient beings.Therefore, Manjushri Bodhisattva appears in all kinds of bodies in Mount Wutai. I just gave an example. If you appear as a pig, you are not a human. You can also see all sentient beings.Why did he want to find a pig?Of course, there is annotation that it is the mint I just did.The owner of Mint is very respectful to it and is very respectful to it. He cleans up all the food, accommodation and food.The owner raised a lot of pigs, and the pig was fat and fat. If you want to kill any pig, the mint would go there and arch it, and the pig would go out and ask it to kill it. It was in order, which was incredible.That story is still very long, I will briefly introduce it.
【Even if you travel to all lands, you will always achieve success.But the evil world of the five turbidities becomes stronger.It is also influenced by the power of original wishes.And because sentient beings should be subject to the transformation of karma.He has come from eleven kalpas.Solemn this world.Mature beings.Therefore, it is in this meeting.The body is harsh and majestic.Only those who are incompetent and incompetent than Tathagata.And all the karma in this world.Only the whole is auspicious.Guanyin, etc.All the great Bodhisattvas.Nothing can be reached.Therefore, the Bodhisattva's original vow power.Quickly fulfill all sentient beings’ requests.It can eliminate all serious sins of sentient beings.Remove obstacles.Now you can be at ease.】
The Buddha said that although Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva showed himself to all Buddha lands, traveling to all lands, and always having achievements, the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva said that he was incarnated and unlimited.It is in this land in the five turbidities and evil worlds, which is the Saha world we are now living in, because he has a particularly strong connection to saving sentient beings.Especially his original vows, the power of vows to cultivate, and is willing to suffer on behalf of all sentient beings and show that they are the same as sentient beings.
So we see the "Ksitigarbha Sutra" that Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva appears incarnation, more than humans in our world, and endlessly, he goes to the infinite world.However, through the influence of his vows, the manifestation of all kinds of sentient beings may not be the present Bodhisattva appearance. When he goes to hell, he will appear in hell.How much did he sense?Those of us, like us, have thoughts about Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and seek to feel feelings.I will tell a story that is invisible, which is on the Ksitigarbha Sentiment Record.
A carpenter was walking and saw a stick and a stick in the rotten wooden shed.He said that this stick is very different. When he picked it up, he saw that there was a look on the cane, and he couldn't tell anything, it was pitch black.He picked it up and stood on the head of his bed.He touched it every day and found that there was no emotion in his relationship, and there was no respect. He didn't know what it was. He felt that it was different from other wooden sticks, just such a cause and condition.This person's karma is harmful to the field of bad diseases. The evil karma he committed is probably mature and he will be arrested in hell.After going to hell, he saw a monk and the monk came.When the King of Hell saw that the monk was coming and got off the throne of the King of Hell, the King of Hell kowtowed to the monk.He seemed to be familiar with the monk but didn't know him, so he couldn't figure it out.Seeing the monk say a few words to the King of Hell, the monk left.
The King of Hell told him, because Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva came to tell me that you are his guardian, and I will let you go back and you will practice well in the future.In this dream, after he recovered, he said that I didn’t seem to have contacted him with this monk. How could he save me?He suddenly saw the monk on his stick, and he looked like a monk in front of him. Oh!Just like this.Now he stopped being a cane and he offered sacrifices.
With his experience with this Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva saved him.Let’s think about it, our fellow practitioners who read the Three Sutras of Ksitigarbha, can Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva not save us?When you have recited the things that Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and practiced, you will always think that you will never fall into the three evil realms.
Sakyamuni Buddha told the Emperor Wugui that Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is coming here now to offer me close to me. At the same time, he was very happy to see our grand assembly, so he came to rejoice and praise and attend this Dharma Assembly.But what he showed was the image of the Śrāvaka.The Śrāvaka is like shaving his hair and dyeing his clothes.All Ksitigarbha Bodhisattvas have their hair shaved, and they are the image of the Śrāvaka.But sometimes we see the five Buddha crowns sitting there, which are the five Buddhas, and are used for flame mouths.In addition to setting off the flame mouth, you also need to do rituals. When praying to sentient beings, you must wear the five Buddha crowns.However, it was rare at that time, usually there were bald heads, and the statues of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva we offered were all statues of shravakas.He is going to come to our Dharma Assembly, and this is the change he has shown.
【This is Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Mahasattva, who is adorned with countless incredible and extraordinary merits, and cannot be measured by all the world's Śrāvakas and the only enlightenment of the Shūāvaka. This great Bodhisattva is the treasure of subtle merits, the source of all the treasures of liberation, and the clear eyes of all the Bodhisattvas.】
However, the great Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva has countless incredible and extraordinary merits. Although he manifests the image of the Śrāvaka, his extraordinary solemnity is greater than all great Bodhisattvas;Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva surpasses Manjushri, Samantabhadra and Guanyin.In the eleventh chapter of the "Ksitigarbha Sutra", the God of Ksitigarbha praised Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and said: In this world, I have seen many great Bodhisattvas, such as Manjushri, Samantabhadra, Guanyin, and Maitreya. The merits and vows are already incredible, but Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is even more than them.Originally, Bodhisattvas and Bodhisattvas, Buddhas and Buddhas are not compared to this, but in order to show the merits of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, the "Ten Wheels Sutra" is also revealed later, and the "Ksitigarbha Sutra" is also revealed.It is difficult to save sentient beings like a vow to go to this hell where there are no Buddhas in the world of five turbidities and evil.Therefore, all Buddhas praise.
There is a story: Venerable Kashyapa wanted to hear the sound of the Buddha. In the end, the sound of the Buddha was so far away, so he used his supernatural powers. As a result, he went somewhere, but the sound of the Buddha was still in his ears.What country has he arrived in?He arrived at someone's Dharma Assembly and was using a vegetarian food. He was on a monk's bowl!When the bowl was eating, the monk who was eating wanted to get the little bug away. The Buddha said to him: Don’t move, that is the great disciple of a Buddha in the East.After that, the monk didn't dare to move.The Buddha said to Venerable Kashyapa: You can recite the master Shakyamuni Buddha. If you recite the master Buddha, your body will be the same as this disciple.With one thought, my teacher Shakyamuni Buddha will have infinite abilities.
What should I prove with this example?Buddha and Buddhism are the same.In order to save such sentient beings, he can only show that he is similar to him.Therefore, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva appears in hell as a very distressed monk. A monk, sometimes you see the statue of Ksitigarbha, whether in a dream or in the realm you see, just like an ordinary monk. If you see a lot of extraordinary light, your karma will change, and Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva will also change, and all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas will manifest according to your heart.
For example, when you look at Mount Wutai, everyone looks at Manjushri Bodhisattva differently, it appears in your heart, and all the great Bodhisattvas are like this.
