If you practice life and death, you should not say things about life and death except keeping precepts;Apart from seeking rebirth in the Pure Land, don’t say anything about life and death.But just keeping precepts is not easy, because it does not conform to habits, so you cannot develop the mind to keep precepts.Therefore, the Buddha in the "Brahman Net Sutra" scolds sentient beings who do not accept the precepts, and animals are no different, and wood is no different.How do you say this?Because animals do not know good or evil, they cannot take precepts.If a person does not know how ugly he is, refuses to take precepts, and is willing to be vulgar, isn’t this the same as an animal?So how can you say that wood is no different?All living beings still have consciousness, but the wood does not even feel consciousness, and they do not know how painful itchy itchy itchy itchy itchy itchy itchy.The foolish sentient beings are in the suffering of life and death, and do not know the pain.If you don’t know the pain, how can you know the itch?So wood is no different.People who first heard the Dharma were often terrified and said, "Oh!How strict is Buddhism?"This also violates the precepts, and that also violates the precepts, so I am afraid.After hearing this, even if you can't bear it, you will not be shocked or terrified.Take a brief look at one or two things from others and make a metaphor: Ignorant sentient beings are like lamps, shining far away but not near, and seeing the disadvantages of others, they will not see their own badness.It is often said that those in the authorities are confused, while those onlookers are clear, and can only follow others and rarely follow themselves.When I was in Hubei late school, some people also received the precepts.

There is a woman who dare not take the Five Precepts.I said that you can hold several precepts and receive them, and you can't bear them if you can't.After hearing this, she took the four precepts. Which four precepts are there?Kill the thief and drink four things, so as not to be sexually abused.I thought she didn't understand, so I told her, "A layman takes the five precepts and only abstains from sexual misconduct."After hearing this, she still did not take the precept of lust.Isn’t it shameful for a woman to quit being sexually abused?Wouldn't you be willing to be vulgar?By this matter, you and I will not accept the precepts or keep the precepts, which means that we will stay on the dark road and do not want to go to the light road.If you want to think about it yourself, is it right to keep the dark road?If you practice less, you will not know the benefits of taking precepts or the harm you will not suffer.If you do not commit only sexual sins, do not commit a concealment. If you take the precepts, you will commit two serious crimes once you commit it. If you plan this way, you will be wrong.If you commit sexual sin, you will also fall into the three realms. If you suffer enough in the three evil realms, you will still commit sins and fall into hell.If you have received the precepts and violated the precepts, and have suffered enough, and have made a vow to accept them again and not violate them again, then you will keep the precepts.

For example, if a thief is caught, he will suffer from prison;I had enough time to come out, steal things, go to jail, and beat the general.All living beings do not know how to be good and go to hell. Those ox-headed and horse-faced ghosts came to their worries as soon as they saw them, saying that I had put a lot of effort in curing their sins, and they were released after curing them. They came again soon, and they had to work harder.As the saying goes, the six realms of reincarnation, if the six realms are equal, the reincarnation will be fine;It’s been a good life in the three good paths for many years, and it’s not like this.The human and heavenly being born like the earth on the claws, and the evil paths being born like the earth on the earth. Once a human body is lost, it will be difficult to recover.Therefore, the six realms are terrible.If you do not keep the precepts, you will be in the three evil realms for a long time.

Among the four precepts of killing, stealing, adultery and lying, killing will not kill people by yourself, and you can also kill people.You can do nothing by stealing and delusion, which is the cause and condition for people to do it.Those who kill me, steal me, and lie to me, think of eliminating old karma with the flow.Only lust cannot be done to eliminate old karma with the circumstances, and this karma cannot be eliminated according to circumstances.If you don’t commit other precepts, it’s only one-sided;If I lust, I lust him, and he will lust me too. Both parties violate the precepts, and this cause and effect will not last.The rules must be broken from now on, and it is better not to be lustful.

《There are many annotations from various schools of the Brahma Net Sutra. Some people judge that lay people only abstain from adultery. Some people judge that even if the Bodhisattva is correct, they must also eliminate it. It depends on our slowness and impatience.As soon as you slow down, you will first abstain from sexual misconduct;After being anxious, you will completely eliminate lust.Is it right?If you slow down, you cannot resolve life and death. It is wrong. Why should Buddha say that the five precepts are only abstaining from sexual misconduct?Because Buddha is teaching by observing the mechanism and teaching, if you see your ability to be shallow, it is said to be slow, so half-word teaching and partial teaching are not ultimate.The Buddha has the door of receiving and the door of obedience. This is the door of receiving and using power and convenience to gradually get rid of lust.Continuing lust is a worldly law, and it should be eliminated in terms of Buddhism.Anyone who has not entered Buddhism should first stop being sexually obscene;Once you enter the door to understand the taste of Buddhism, you must eliminate lust. In the end, you can eliminate lust, and then eliminate the root of life and death.There are all connections between the precepts.If you can ultimately eliminate lust, you will commit a crime of killing, kill an ignorant father, and kill a greedy mother.If you violate this precept of killing, it is because of the nature of killing animals, not the appearance of killing parents. It is not only innocent, but also merit.If one person ultimately kills ignorance and greed, then one person ultimately eliminates life and death;If everyone ultimately kills ignorance and loves, then all sentient beings on the earth will be Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.

But people just don't want to kill them like this.Ignorance is fundamental ignorance, and greed is ignorance in branches and branches.The nature of ignorance and confusion in the nature of the Dharma cannot know that the true nature exists, create karma and receive retribution, and cannot achieve the emptiness of false nature.Therefore, fundamental ignorance is also called karma ignorance;It creates confusion and karma, so greed is also called nourishing ignorance.If you plant seeds and don’t like watering, it will dry out over time and cannot grow.The seeds of ignorance are the cause, just like the father;Greedy to grow a fetus, nourishing a fetus is like a mother.If you kill such parents, you will be liberated, which is the so-called "I will die if I have the thoughts and save my Dharma body and live."Keeping precepts is indeed the golden elixir that saves our Dharma body and wisdom life.If you find life and death interesting, you are the devil son and grandson.If you are unwilling to fall, you must keep the precepts well.It is not easy to keep the precepts. You should use it like a blacksmith, burn it and beat it, remove some of the debris and some habits.Counting the fire and counting the beat, isn’t it all done at once?For example, if you come to the Three Treasures, you will not eat meat anymore.

Do you still want to eat if you don’t eat it at first?I will naturally not eat it after a long time.But when the thoughts come together, it will be a reproach, like iron to remove a little bit of scum.By this reason, you can do it as long as you have the intention.But don’t be like that woman who dares not bear it or hold it.All precepts are slowly tempered, and you can't bear it and force it to be accepted.If you dare not accept it or hold it, wouldn’t it be the same as an animal or a wood?For example, when fighting, you still fight if you lose.The battle of Buddhism is to fight against righteous thoughts and evil thoughts. If you lose, you will come again and again. You will be like a group of fish that will last for a long time.Mindfulness will never die. If you lose, you will fight again. After a long time, you will naturally be invincible.Therefore, mindfulness is like an immortal group of fish, and you are not afraid of not being able to hold it, but you are afraid of not having the intention.After you have taken the precepts, you should also encourage your family, relatives and friends when you go back.Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are compassionate and compassionate. They will not blame us for breaking the precepts when they beat the son.However, the God of Protecting the Precepts has not stopped being angry, and he cannot violate the Precepts.It is better to commit less than more than commit less, and it is better not to commit less.Although Buddha is merciful to us, he is afraid that we ourselves are not merciful to ourselves.Buddha is the mind, and it is impossible to separate the Buddha's name and keep the precepts.Read the Buddha's name well!
