All kinds of troubles are caused by the heart

Chinese Master 2016-06-12

Zen Master Mazu Daoyi of the Tang Dynasty advocated "it is the mind and the Buddha" throughout his life. His disciples always followed this sentence to understand the opportunity, and after they were fully enlightened, they lived in seclusion in Damei Mountain. One day, Mazu sent a servant to test the Dharma and said to him: "Dharma, you have understood the teacher's 'the mind is the Buddha', but the teacher recently said 'Neither the mind is the Buddha'!"Fa Chang heard it and was unmoved: "I don't care about anything else, I am still 'the mind is Buddha'."Zen Master Mazu nodded happily after listening to the waiter's report: "The plum is ripe!”

When the heart moves, all things in the world arise, hustle and bustle, no matter how often;Once the mind is calm, the floating life will return to peace, disputes will disappear, and dust will disappear. The dynamics of the mind vary greatly, "all actions are impermanent, and all dharmas have no self". The statics of the mind are "Nirvana and Silence".The so-called "are absent-minded, blindly observing, listen without hearing, eat without knowing its taste". No matter how different the world is ***,In those who have attained enlightenment, the difference is still equal. ***The reversal will eventually return to silence.

When Suzuki Dazuo was promoting Zen Buddhism in Europe, someone asked him: "What is the last hope of Sakyamuni Buddha for all living beings?"Suzuki Dazuru replied: "Sakyamuni Buddha's last hope for sentient beings is to abandon his dependent heart."People's heart is often dependent on others, they cannot make decisions, and they are often traction from the outside world and cannot control themselves. This is the root of all kinds of troubles. How to stabilize our hearts and seek permanent peace?

We often have delusional thoughts, right and wrong thoughts, evil thoughts, and selfish thoughts... All these delusional hearts should be treated with the positive heart. For example, we must have a sense of shame and repentance, reflect on ourselves at all times, and demand ourselves;Be happy and tolerate everything about others with a happy heart. If we can always hold joy in our lives, we can get in touch with the Buddha's heart. We must be grateful and contented, and always think about "what can I give to others". We must not be selfish and only think about "what can others give to me."Those who exclaim, provoke disagreement, or slander, or are insincere, have really "ulterior motives".

First, you have compassion and then you can enter into meditation. What is meditation? An equal mind is a calm mind, a vast mind is a calm mind, a bodhicitta is a calm mind, and a quiet mind is a calm mind.

First, meditation means not being attached to feelings.

Second, meditation means not rejecting the five desires or being greedy.

Third, meditation means never getting tired of the world.

Fourth, meditation means not being afraid of life and death or being confused.

In short, in this world, we should not be attached to feelings, refuse or be greedy for the five desires, be tired of the world, and be confused about life and death, so that we can live a happy life in a quiet mind.
