◎ Life is impermanent, and in that impermanent change, you cannot decide every change, it is determined by cause and effect, so it is suffering. When you understand, you don't want to stay in the Saha world for a day, because this world is not beautiful.

◎ In the process of practice, just abide in "compassion and tolerance". When dealing with others, you cannot seek truth or beauty, but you can only ask yourself to maintain compassion and tolerance.

◎ Our life is like an endless stream of water, and the guide of this water flow is your "mind in your heart"!

◎ Your life is realized by your own 'heart', "it is your own heart, created by yourself!" ”

◎ When our mind is changing all dharmas, the most important of these eight consciousnesses are the "eighth consciousness" and "sixth consciousness". The "eighth consciousness" dominates your "retribution", and the "sixth consciousness" dominates your "place".

◎ Our life has two connotations: first, to bear the consequences; Second, the ability to build work.

◎ The eighth consciousness manifests this retribution, so there are independent life forms, which may be male or female, or solemn, or... Wait a minute. Who realized it? It is the manifestation of the "Alaya consciousness" itself, which has nothing to do with others, so how you look has nothing to do with your parents, it is released by your own "Alaya consciousness".

◎ When you have this period of life, you will fabricate a "self" in these five aggregates of body and mind; Therefore, what we call 'I' is actually taking this retribution body as me and the five aggregates as me. The reason why we have the concept of "I" is that this "I" is fabricated by the "Seventh Consciousness", so the Seventh Consciousness is very special, it does not realize the results or create the work force, but only does one thing, that is, fabricates a "I" out of this retribution body.

After having this "I", there is the "sixth consciousness", which is centered on this self and begins to go to the realm of the other six dusts—color, sound, fragrance, taste, touch, and dharma, and produces many different feelings, including happy feelings and painful feelings.

◎ The "Eighth Consciousness" manifests this retribution, the "Seventh Consciousness" generates a self-thought, and then becomes self-centered, and the "Sixth Consciousness" begins to use the Six Dusts, producing happiness and pain, which is called "Receiving Retribution".

◎ When we receive retribution, we also create new "karma", which is related to "next life".

◎ When the "sixth consciousness" endures happiness and pain, it produces an "idea", which may be correct or wrong. If it generates an idea of gratification in time, it is not good, it is very difficult for the person to cultivate goodness. If the purpose of life is to "indulge in pleasure in time," then he can do whatever it takes to make himself happy, which will hurt many people and create a lot of sinful karma. If he thinks: pain or happiness in this life is not important, the next life is more important, and I live for the next life. Then this idea is correct, and it is easy for such people to ask themselves to cut off evil and cultivate good.

◎ When your retribution appears and the "sixth consciousness" goes to the outside world, the happiness and pain generated make you have another thought, which of course has something to do with the books of the sages you have learned in the past and how much you have experienced.

◎ The idea of the "sixth consciousness" is made stronger by the "seventh consciousness". Then, it is stored back to the "eighth consciousness" and smoked into the Alaya consciousness.

Therefore, the "eighth consciousness" realizes the results and allows the "sixth consciousness" to be used; After the sixth consciousness is used, it creates new karma and stores it back in the eighth consciousness, which constitutes the continuum of life and karmic results.

◎ Why do you have an afterlife after you die in this life? Because when you receive the retribution in this life, you create new karma, and these karmas create the retribution in the next life.

◎ When the "sixth consciousness" is inheriting the retribution and creating karma at the same time, there are two options:

1. If we have no goal in our hearts, we can do whatever we want, it doesn't matter if we do evil or good, then it is determined by the external environment—when you go to a pure environment, you will do good, and if you leave the monastery and go outside, you will create karma.

2. When a person learns Buddhism, it is different, the sixth consciousness has the alert function of "intention", and knows how to "act according to reason"—no matter how the external environment changes, I must cut off evil, cultivate goodness, and save sentient beings, which is guided by "intention".

◎ How do we bear the consequences of the past?

First, it is born from the heart

We are not only in this life, we have experienced immeasurable and boundless life, and these lives, wherever we travel, must leave traces, and this trace is the "seed".

Although your life is over, the seeds of good and evil that you have created have been preserved in this period of life. Who kept it? It is "Alaya consciousness". Every time we live our lives, we leave many traces, traces of good and traces of evil. When these karmas mature, some go to heaven, some go to earth, some go to the three evil realms, some go to nirvana. In other words, why do we feel the retribution today? It is because we have created a lot of karma in the past, and these karmas have continued to produce these different results.

◎ Why do these beings in the six realms, such as hell, hungry ghosts, animals, humans, and heaven, have so many different results? Each of them follows the karmic seed in their hearts, and its corresponding results appear; This retribution is created by your own mind.

◎ Why do our hearts feel different when we come into contact with the same environment at the same time? It is because everyone's blessings are different. What are we using? You are all manifested by your "Alaya consciousness"!

◎ When we are receiving the retribution today, there is only one thing we can do, which is to repent of our karma—accepting our fate and repenting. Don't put too much effort into the retribution, because it won't help.

◎ When the Alaya consciousness realizes the retribution, it will not stop because you hate it; It won't be a little more because you like it, and it has nothing to do with your thoughts at all. Alaya consciousness, it can put as much as it wants, and when the karma is over, it will not let go for an extra second. Therefore, when we face retribution, there are only two words: "accept fate", that is, "should not dwell anywhere", and do not put your efforts in this place, because it will not change because of your thoughts.

◎ Second, change with the heart

"Turning with the heart" is very important. When this "phase" appears, we will create a "karma", and your thoughts are very important, and you need to cultivate a correct and non-upside-down idea. Our karma affects our thoughts, and thoughts also affect our karma, and these two affect each other.

◎ Different ideas. It will play a different role, everything is "non-self-nature", what kind of thoughts you have, what kind of effect will it have. Does this retribution hurt you? Or help you? The retribution itself cannot be determined, it is determined by your thoughts!

◎ "Illness" is called the retribution of pain, but it does not necessarily hinder the path. Master Zhiyi said: If you have the right idea about illness, it can produce positive power.

◎ Buddhism talks about "change", mainly "changing your thoughts". If you treat everyone as a good knowledge, he really plays the role of a good friend, and everyone can help you practice. If you treat everyone as evil knowledge, everyone becomes a victim of harm, this is a fact!

◎ When retribution appears, it is "memoryless", neither good nor evil. So how can it become good and evil? You 'thought' it yourself! When a person often has negative thoughts, it is actually you hurting yourself. To be honest, no one is hurting you, Alaya consciousness just presents the results truthfully, and when you come into contact with the karma, you will have an idea that will affect what kind of karma you create.

◎ Why remember Amitabha? It is because of this that the cause and effect between us and the Buddha can be established.

◎ Your "life" is very related to your "thoughts", if you don't make good use of your mind, you still have many problems to deal with in the next life. When we face retribution in this life, you should pay attention to how to "give birth to your mind", because what you think will affect your future.

◎ Life is created by your "thoughts".

"Wealth comes from generosity, and poverty comes from greed."

"Longevity comes from compassion, and short life comes from killing."

"Solemnity comes from humiliation, ugliness comes from anger."

"High positions come from respect, and humility comes from arrogance."

Karma and retribution must correspond! Use your heart well - you can turn your life around

◎ "We should observe the nature of the Dharma realm, and everything is created by the mind." You create yourself, and then you use it yourself; The past you create the present you, and the present you create the future you!

You can "make good use of your heart", and your future life is in your hands.

◎ In our lives, there have been many painful retributions and many happy retributions. None of this is created by God, it is completely manifested within us.

Only your heart can transform your current environment, and you don't have to pursue it outwardly!

◎ How can we use the power of the mind to change our lives? First of all, "make a wish"! What kind of results do you want in the future, first have a goal.

Your future life is actually determined by your current state of mind!

◎ Our future retribution is determined by "karma", and "karma" is affected by three factors: the first is your "mental power"; the second is "circumstances"; The third is "continuity". Your mental strength will determine the strength of your karma.

◎ Which thoughts you have in a day that are particularly strong, and they appear frequently, and appear very often, then whether they are good or bad, they will have a great traction force for you in your next life.

◎ Before each result appears, there will be many signs, and the easiest sign to observe is to observe your thoughts! If you want to create a better future, you need to pay attention to your current thoughts!

◎ The so-called: "Bodhisattvas fear causes, sentient beings fear results". "Bodhisattva" is to value the thoughts in his heart. "All beings" regard the results very importantly, and in order to pursue the immediate results, they can sacrifice the future to create evil. The mentality of bodhisattvas is different from that of sentient beings.

◎ Our lives are affected by two forces, the first is the influence of the "external environment"; The second is the influence of the "mind".

If you give up the power of the mind—then your life is completely dominated by the "external world" and can only live in "karma".

◎ Because you have not cultivated a spiritual power, you have no desire for the future, and you have not cultivated good thoughts to change yourself, this kind of person is called "living in the past". But a Buddhist practitioner uses his mind to cultivate a beautiful power and then create a better future.

◎ There are two forces in life: one is the power of the "external world" and the other is the power of the "mind". If you are often pulled by the "outside world", then you cannot have a good future; If your life is guided by the "mind", then you may not be very satisfied now, but I promise you will have a good future because your life is constantly progressing and eliminating karma. Therefore, you must use the power of the mind to guide life, not the power of the external environment to guide life, this is very important!

◎ A person does what you "like to do" all day long, that is, follow the feeling, what the outside world gives you, you do whatever it is, it is difficult for you to expect a better future. You should do what you "should", such as listening to scriptures and listening to the Dharma, chanting Buddha and worshiping Buddha, etc., so that is right.

◎ The greatest power to change life is "mind"!

To chant the Buddha is to use the strength of the mind to remember Amitabha, so that the blessing power of Amitabha Buddha can be activated; If you don't remember Amitabha, then the Buddha's forty-eight vows are equivalent to none.

If you want to turn the power of Amitabha Buddha into your power, you have to do one thing – you have to remember Amitabha!

◎ No matter how powerful the Buddha is, he cannot take the initiative to help you. You have to release a power before He can respond. This is the correct belief and understanding that should be practiced in the Pure Land Method. How powerful is the Buddha's response? It depends on how much power you release, and how much He responds.

◎ All the power of the Buddha must be activated through the remembrance in your heart. This is something that those who cultivate the Pure Land must know.

◎ Amitabha's forty-eight vows can be summarized as four kinds of acceptance:

First, light reception: When we chant the Buddha, we can eliminate karma by guiding the light of Amitabha Buddha to our physical and mental world, and accepting the light of Amitabha Buddha.

Second, divine power reception: It can break down the obstacles of ghosts and gods, enemies and creditors. Third, Dharmakaya acceptance: It can slowly increase the good roots of Bodhi for those who chant Buddha. Fourth, physical body reception: At the time of his death, Amitabha Buddha appeared before him to give lectures and guide the deceased. At the end of your life, as long as you chant the Buddha with all your heart, Amitabha Buddha will personally come to enlighten and comfort you, and lead you to the blissful world.

◎ What are the consequences if you continue to roll in the Three Realms?

In the next life, you may create the sins of the five reversals and ten evils, and a bodhisattva who has just developed bodhicitta will fall into hell. Therefore, we should hurry to the Pure Land to study and achieve the merit of not regressing. This is the most important purpose of our chanting.

◎ How to remember and recite the Buddha in order to feel the Taoist fellowship?

All take the six roots of concentration, and the pure thoughts are successive (continuous power).

If we want to turn the merits of the Buddha into our own merits, the key to success or failure is whether we can "take all six roots and concentrate on them".

◎ The Buddha's blessing power to you is not effective just because you recite the Buddha's name a lot, but every Buddha's name must be recited clearly! That kind of pious and focused heart will arise.

◎ The key to chanting Buddha - it is better to have less than to weed. It is necessary to focus on the mind and pure thoughts one after another. Every Buddha's name must be read clearly and understood. The recitation of the Buddha is the inner concentration, piety and respect, to inspire the blessing of the Buddha's power!

◎ The merits of the Pure Land Happiness:

1. Do not fall into the evil path

Even if you have a lot of sins of murder, stealing, fornication, and recklessness in your past life, if you are reborn in the Land of Pure Bliss, at least you will not fall into the three evil paths until you become a Buddha, which is a very important guarantee.

2. The color body is strong

The bodhisattva who has achieved rebirth has a physical body called "Vajra Narayan body" and has no pain on his body.

If Master Zhiyi had not been sick and suffering, he might not have been able to survive in the Pure Land, and it was because of his illness that he began to chant Buddha. He said: "He was so sick that he could not sit or lie down for seven days and nights, and could only chant Buddha with tears." After the disease is eliminated and the customs is removed, from then on, Amitabha Buddha will be devoted to Amitabha, and there will be a true refuge in Amitabha.

◎ Amitabha Buddha assures you that after being reborn in the Land of Pure Bliss, you will never get sick during this period of your life, and no matter what killing karma you have in the past, those karmas will no longer be active.

◎ Among the "happiness", food and clothing are natural, the country is solemn, the five links are complete, and the life span is long.

This kind of peaceful retribution in the blissful world, from being free from suffering to achieving righteousness and solemnity, finally gives you a fairly extraordinary, complete five paths, and a long-lasting life retribution body.

◎ The merit of liberation in the Pure Land

1. Get close to the Buddhas of the ten directions

2. Listen to the Dharma

3. All good things will come together

You must connect the "merit of the Pure Land" with the "Buddha's name"! I want to be born in the Land of Bliss, where there is no disease. Why can I go? Because there is a Buddha's name! I hope that the karma body in the next life can be free and have supernatural karma bodies. In short, you must associate your wishes for the next life with the Buddha's name in your heart, and then you can have a strong attachment to the Buddha's name.

◎ Why is it easy to remember and hold on to some people's Buddha names when reciting Buddha; Some people's Buddha names run away not long after reciting them. It is because you have no association with the Buddha's name and the relationship with merit. When it is just a Buddha's name and a sound, then you seem to be dispensable to it, and you have not taken refuge in the Buddha's name at all!

◎ If you don't have "merit associations" with the Buddha's name, you can't stop reciting this Buddha's name! You must closely link your vision of rebirth in the Pure Land in the future with the Buddha's name, and such a Buddha's name is of great significance! You have to tell yourself that without the Buddha's name, you have nothing!

◎ People who practice the Pure Land Sect, if they want to recite the Buddha's name well, must first have a strong heart of refuge in the Buddha's name, you have to visualize yourself as an ordinary person with karma, and without the Buddha's name, there will be no hope in the next life, which is called "leaning down all over"! If you pin all your hopes for the future on this Buddha's name, I guarantee that you will be able to recite this Buddha's name well, and you can also activate all the merits of Amitabha!

◎ The central idea of the Pure Land Sect, "I am a Saha guest for the time being, and soon I will be a member of the Lotus Pond Society." "If you can really treat this life as the last guest, you will soon be a member of the Lotus Pond Society.

When we really want to be reborn in the Pure Land of Bliss, we strengthen the remembrance in our hearts and wholeheartedly devote ourselves to Amitabha!

◎ We have two choices in the next life:

1. If you continue to roll in the three realms and six realms, then you will continue to face afflictions, karma, and retribution, and the results will be full of variables. 2. Rebirth in the Pure Land, which has many merits - not falling into the evil paths, no disease, all kinds of righteousness and solemnity, the blessings of the Three Jewels... We must always keep the merits of the blissful world in our hearts.

◎ Buddhist practitioners should think about "I am an ordinary person with karma, and there is no cause and effect for renunciation". Think about "Amitabha Buddha has a great vow and has decided to save me". In short, first establish your vision for the future, how and how do you want to be... In the future, these goals are all because of the relationship of the "Buddha's name", so you have to have such a mentality. You have nothing to leave it.

Gradually goosebumps, look at the walking dragon bell;

If the hall is filled with gold and jade, it is inevitable that it will inevitably be weak, old, and sick.

No matter how happy you are, impermanence will eventually come;

Only practice the path, but recite Amitabha!

Even if you use good things to maintain your "color body", the color body will still disappoint you. Why? "Gradually, goosebumps appeared", wrinkles appeared on the face, gray hair grew, physical strength declined, and movements slowed down; Because the physical body is also impermanent, it will eventually be corrupted.

If you put your mental and physical strength on "treasures", "if you are full of gold and jade, you will inevitably be disabled and sick", even if you accumulate a lot of wealth, you will not be able to use anything when you are sick.

You put your life on your "dependents". Although you have many beautiful relatives who will bring you temporary happiness, when death comes, they go their separate ways and divide things, and they are only temporary gatherings.

So if you live in this life, you will definitely regret it when you die. It should be "only the path to practice, but recite Amitabha." "We should put our spirit and physical strength on the Buddha's name to create a better future, which is a wise choice.

The power of the mind is very important, it depends on how you guide yourself!
