How could he be more suitable than fast?"Expressed that he did not regard personal gains and losses as his own, and believed that as long as he was calm and open-minded, he would have a happy life.Indeed, as long as a person is calm and contented in his heart, not harmed by fame and fortune, and is not bound by external things, he can always maintain peace and tranquility in his heart.Just imagine, if a person is in a bad mood, no matter where he goes, he will be worried and lack happiness. If he is open and honest, no matter how the objective environment changes, he can be his own master and will not be influenced by external things, and his spiritual realm is also open and open.But it is often difficult to make decisions by yourself.Modern people usually have two common problems: one is that when they are in a happy spring, they think they are great, and they are complacent because they can summon the wind and rain and turn the world;The other type is to complain, curse or even give up easily when encountering unsatisfactory situations.Both of these problems will cause you to lose yourself and be your own master.In the book "The White Congee House to Avoid Anger", there is an article called "The Putting Up of the Donor of Qu", which contains this paragraph:The second time that Qu Shi came to the temple was last spring. I felt that Qu Shi was much silent this time, as if he was worried.He sat in front of Master Zhiyuan, and the master asked him to express his confusion. Although there are many people in this world who forget their righteousness, there are always people who will stick to their principles.However, things changed a little. Few people moved it. The donor was stunned and stood in front of the incense burner and pushed it hard. The incense burner just moved gently, and it was almost impossible to move it up the mountain.Donor Qu wanted to give up but was not convinced. He persisted for a while and finally gave up.Master Zhiyuan smiled and said to the donor Qu, "In fact, your goal is to reach the top of the mountain, and it is okay not to bring this incense burner."That afternoon, Donor Qu stood in front of the incense burner for a long time, finally sighed with a smile, took out his cell phone and sent a text message, turned around and said goodbye to us and left the mountain.A few days ago, Jie Chi met the donor Qu again. This time he was wearing a hat. Jie Chi didn't know if there was too much hair under the hat, but it could be seen that the donor Qu was in a good mood. Every move is at the mercy of others, and they can't help themselves laughing, anger and scolding.The donor in the article did his true nature before he met the female doctor, but because of the female doctor's breach of trust, he felt that he was deceived. At this time, the hurt emotions and resentment began to influence his thoughts. He could not be happy and had a lot of worries.This pain has become an invisible line that manipulates his life. This is definitely not the life he wants, but he can't extricate himself for a while, so he lives in the shadow of pain every day.When Master Zhiyuan said with a word and said, "Your goal is to reach the top of the mountain", Donor Qu suddenly realized, swung his sword and cut off the lines that tied him, found what he should do now, and found himself again.How can we get rid of the situation of "using things to turn me"?There is only one way out, which is "using me to transform things".“To transform things with me means to use "I" to transform external things, to free yourself from being enslaved by external things, and to control external things.《Caigentan says: "If I change things, I will not be happy with gains, nor will I worry about losing them. The world will be free and free;Those who use things to deal with me will be disliked and hateful, and those who obey will also be loved, and a hair will become entangled."The general meaning is that for those who turn things around, there is no need to be happy if they get it, and there is no need to be sad if they lose it. The heaven and earth can be free and free everywhere;Those who enslave me with things will certainly develop hatred when things are in the opposite situation, but also develop love when things are in the good times, and a hair will cause trouble.It’s like if you are enslaved by a house, you become a “house slave”;If you are enslaved by fame and fortune, you will become an "official slave".Only when you change your mindset and "change things with me" can you be free from the role of house slaves and official slaves, and you will live a comfortable life no matter the size of the house;Whether you have or not, you will live freely.This is also the Zen proposition: transcend the external world with many different voices and colors, and maintain the tranquility and freedom of the soul in the rolling world.The reason why a person's life is endless pain is that we have too many desires. We are led by external things, joy, sorrow, pain... and cannot be the true self due to external influences.Therefore, Zen Master Huineng, the Sixth Patriarch, made a warning saying "The mind is confused and the Lotus Sutra is transformed, and the mind is enlightened and the Lotus Sutra is transformed."With me as the center, everything is used by me. If you lose something, you can take another thing. If you fail, you can create another thing. You can make a difference in the sky and be carefree.On the contrary, to work hard for all things, one becomes a slave to wealth and fame.In adversity, hate and fear in your heart;When you are in good times, you will forget your sorrow because of love.Extremely small things can bind the body and mind and become the root of pain. It can be seen that confusion and enlightenment, suffering and happiness are all between the thought of servicing things and the thought of servicing things.If you don’t realize it, you will be a slave to things for life. If you understand it, you will have an inexhaustible treasure.
