Passers-by replied: "The reason why everyone is so happy is that the supreme Buddha of the Three Realms is in the Gyu Garden.CenturyHe not only has escaped from life and death, but also taught the publicPracticeThe method of the law is to reach the state of liberation, so we have prepared fragrance flowers to offer.”
After hearing this, Du Sheng was very happy and thought to himself, "I have lived to be so old, and I can meet someone else.wisdomThe saint is really a blessing from his previous life, how could he miss such a rare opportunity!"So, Du Sheng moved some of the money he originally wanted to buy incense powder, bought flowers, and followed everyone to the Gion Temple.After paying homage to the Buddha with sincerity, he retreated to the side to scatter flowers and burn incense to offer, and listen to the Buddha's teachings devoutly.
After the end, Du Sheng returned to the market to get the things she had bought before because he listened to the truth.Merit，In addition, the rewards received by good deeds in previous lives have made the pollen, the fragrance and weight that have been purchased are better than before, and even increased several times.
When Du Sheng returned to the palace, the princess and the geniuses had already been waiting for a long time and asked Du Sheng: "Why have you been there for so long? Are you lazy?Hurry, to be honest!"Du Sheng is a truth and reward: "Have you ever heard of the saint of "Buddha"?He, the supreme emperor of the Three Realms, preached to the public in the Gion Monastery, and taught liberation.troubleThe method ofThe Buddha's Dharma sound is like hitting a huge Dharma drum, which is enough to shake the three thousand great worlds. Today, people who go to the Gion Temple to listen to the Dharma are even more difficult to measure.The reason why I came back so late was to follow the crowd to the Lonely Garden and listen to the Buddha's teachings.”
After listening to Du Sheng's narration, the princess and other maids knew that the teachings of the Buddha were profound and unpleasant, and were beyond the reach of ordinary worldly studies, and they couldn't help but feel mixed with joy.What I am happy is that the Buddha is already in the city of Sarvasti, and what I am worried about is that I have no blessings to hear the Buddha's teachings. So I sighed and said, "I don't know what karma I have created in the past, but I have no blessings to hear the Dharma?"But the princess suddenly thought about it and said to Du Sheng, "Since you have heard the Buddha's teachings, why not preach the content of the time to us."Du Sheng said with a difficult face: "I am a low-minded person and a poor voice. How dare I preach the Dharma so casually.Princess, why don’t I ask the Buddha for a look?"After Du Sheng received the permission of the princess, he quickly went to the monastery to ask the Buddha, while the others were anxiously waiting for Du Sheng's return in the courtyard. His thirst was like a child waiting for his mother to return home, and it was difficult to suppress it.
After the supreme tries to the temple, he will express his purpose after paying tribute to the Buddha with sincerity.The Buddha told Du Sheng: "You will return to the palace to preach to the public and will free many people.However, before preaching Buddhism, the public who listens to the Dharma must prepare high seats for the preacher, so that they can comply with the rules."Dusheng returned to the palace and repeated what the Buddha said. The public was very happy when they heard this, so they decided to take off one piece of clothing and make a Dharma seat one by one.When Du Sheng returns to his residence to bathe and change his clothes, and uses the three karmas of body, speech and mind to show respect for the Dharma.
Under the Buddha's power, the preaching of the victory is very wonderful and is no different from the Buddha's personal propaganda. Therefore, the princess and the singers all eliminate doubts and eliminate evil thoughts.ProveSotapanna fruit.Unfortunately, just as the public was listening to the Dharma, the palace suddenly caught fire, because everyone was focusing on listening to the Dharma, and they were not aware of the dangers of the environment. By the time they discovered it, the fire was already out of control.Therefore, the princess and the five hundred singers were buried in the sea of fire and were reborn in heaven after death.
When King Bosnayan heard the news of a fire in his daughter's palace, he immediately took people to put out the fire, but when he arrived at the scene, he saw that the palace had already burned to ashes.Although King Bosina was heartbroken, he could only order people to prepare the coffin and bury the princesses and singers.After the funeral was over, King Persenathus came to the monastery with sorrow. After bowing to the Buddha, he sat in his seat with a sad face.The Buddha asked, "King, what are you here today?"The King of Bosnake clasped his hands and replied, "My beloved daughter, Princess Vajra, unfortunately encountered a fire. Even the five hundred singing geniuses who served her on weekdays were buried in the fire trough. I just finished their funeral, and the sadness and pain in my heart were really unbearable.I wonder what kind of sin they committed in the past, but only suffered such a sudden disaster today?Please pray that the Buddha can teach the disciples what they havecausereason.”
The Buddha told King Persenay: "In the past life, there was a city called "Porona".One day, an elder wife in the city led 500 maids to the outside of the city to hold a sacrificial ceremony.The rules of sacrifice are very mysterious. Except for this family, outsiders are not allowed to approach. If anyone violates them without knowing it, they will be thrown into the fire and burned to death.At that time, there was a Pratyekabuddha named "Gara". He lived in the mountains and practiced. He went out to beg for a meal in the morning, and returned to the mountains and worked hard in the evening.On this day, Garot begged by the place where the sacrifice was held. The elder's wife was very angry when she saw it. She immediately sent someone to catch it and throw it into the fire.When Gala waited until his whole body was burned to pieces, he suddenly showed his magical power and ascended to the void.Seeing this strange situation, the public present realized that they had offended the saint. They were frightened and panicked. They knelt on the ground, cried bitterly, and said remorsefully: "We are really a group of stupid and ignorant women. There are people who don't know the saint and are insulting and hurting you."We know that our sins are profound and as high as a mountain. We pray that you, the saint, will give us a lot of them to repent and eliminate the sins we have committed.'After hearing the elder's wife's sad voice, the Pratyekabuddha walked down from the air and entered the state of nirvana.In order to express his regret for his good intentions, the elder's wife set up a pagoda for Venerable Gala and offered his relics."Then, the Buddha said another verse:
「Stupid and evil, cannot solve one's own understanding;Chase ***，The sin was burning.
Where fools look for, they do not say that they are in a state of suffering. When they fall into trouble, they know that they are not good.”
The Buddha said to King Persenathians: "The old lady was the Vajra Princess, and the five hundred singing girls including Du Sheng were the maids at that time.In fact, sins and blessings always follow us like shadows. No matter how long or short the time is, it will appear as long as the cause and condition will be encountered. This is impossible to abandon.”
After the Buddha taught and perfected the principles of evil cause and effect, the people across the country, regardless of gender, age, and obeyed the Three Refuges and Five Precepts, followed the Buddha's teachings and practiced hard.
