For a moment, the Buddha was in the city of Sarvas.The five hundred immortals who live in the quiet forest often make fire offerings to the Heavenly Lord.Our master Shakyamuni Buddha Tathagata possesses two kinds of wisdom, the four fearlessness, the seven bodhi branch, the eight liberation, the nine samadhi, and the ten powers. He observes the suffering and happiness of all sentient beings day and night. Even if the waves leave the sea, the Buddha's great compassion for sentient beings will not leave in an instant.

The Buddha realized that the opportunity for the five hundred immortals who were ascetic in the forest to be adjusted was ripe, so he showed that the divine transformation left a footprint in the stove where the five hundred immortals were fire offerings. After the immortals saw the footprints, they blessed them so that they could not ignite the firewood in the stove no matter what.All the immortals believed that these were the auspicious signs of practice blessed by the Great Free Heavenly Lord, and they were infinitely happy in their hearts and offered the offerings on their footprints.With the Buddha's blessing power, all the offerings burned and the flames rushed straight to the Brahma Realm. The immortals were even more convinced that it was the result of the blessing of the Great Freedom Heaven.In order to allow these immortals to convert into Buddhism, the Buddha left footprints on the road from the edge of the fire offering stove to the middle of the Jita Garden with his divine transformation.Seeing this, the immortals agreed that it was the great freedom of heaven and earth, so they decided to follow their footprints to pay homage to the Gyatana Garden. At that time, the Buddha Shakyamuni was teaching the wonderful Dharma to hundreds of relatives.All the immortals saw the thirty-two figures and eighty-year-old body appearance of the World Honored One, and developed an extremely happy heart. The joy of those with deep roots of goodness has surpassed the Zen joy of the monks for twelve years.They bowed respectfully under the Buddha's feet. The Buddha observed their acumen and thoughts and passed on the corresponding Dharma. All the five hundred immortals attained the fruit of no coming. Then they prayed to become monks and observe the precepts of monks in front of the Buddha.The Buddha made a promise and taught the near-perfect precepts with the convenience of good monks.They practice diligently, eliminate the troubles of the three realms of reincarnation, and attain the Arhat fruit. They present a state where gold and cow dung are equal, and there is no difference between void and palm, and the heavens praise their virtues together.

At that time, the monks asked: The World Honored One, the five hundred immortals finally attained the ultimate Arhat fruit according to the guidance of the Buddha's footprints. What causes this? The World Honored One told the monks: Not only in this life, but in the previous life, they also obtained the monk's body shape by following the guidance of the Buddha's footprints.When the virtuous kalpa is alive for 20,000 years, the human and heavenly teachers, Tathagata, and Kasyapa Buddha of the Equal Enlightenment are born. Tathagata shows all kinds of magical changes to countless sentient beings with a fate.There are five hundred ascetic immortals in the forest who have practiced various magical changes and can fly to Honolulu from their residence.When they were walking in the void one day, Kashyapa Tathagata left his footprints on the ground so that they could not fly.They doubt whether their transformation has been lost.A celestial being told them: It is not that your divine transformation has declined, but that there are footprints of Tathagata on the ground, so not only do you even Brahma and Indra can not fly.When the five hundred immortals heard this, they immediately felt great joy towards Kashyapa Buddha.At that time, Buddha Kashyapa was full of footprints on the way from the forest where the immortals lived to the residence of the Tathagata.The immortals believed that these footprints were left by the Great Free Heavenly Lord, and then followed the footprints. Finally, when they saw Kasyapa Buddha, they felt great joy, respectfully bowed to the Buddha's feet, became monks and uphold the precepts of monks, and taught them the corresponding Buddhist teachings. They became monks all their lives and made a vow at the end of their lives: Although we have not achieved any state of enlightenment in our lives, we hope that when Shakyamuni Buddha was born in the future, we can make the Buddha happy and become monks and obtain the Arhat fruit of the Arhat under Buddhist teachings.Monks, what do you think? The five hundred immortals at that time were the five hundred immortals now. Because their vows were ripe, they became monks and attained the Arhat fruit under my teachings.
