The largest Tibetan Buddhist temple in Qinghai Province has been built for 600 years and is now open to the public for free.

Xining Taer Temple, 26 kilometers away from the provincial capital Xining city, is the largest Tibetan Buddhist temple in Qinghai. It is ranked alongside the Sera Monastery, Drepung Monastery, Tashilunpo Monastery, Ganden Monastery and Labrang Monastery in Gansu.

Every June-August, Qinghai is the most popular tourist destination in China.

Tourists from all over the country come here to escape the summer heat, and Xining is a distribution center for Qinghai tourism. When traveling in Xining, Ta'er Temple cannot miss the attractions.

Tibetan Buddhism is full of mystery and yearning for many mainland tourists, and those devout Tibetans kowtowed their heads and left a deep impression on many people.

There are mainly many mosques in Xining city, so Tar Monastery seems even more rare. In addition to feeling the charm of Tibetan Buddhism, the other purpose is to feel the piety of the Lama and the grandeur and solemnity of the Tibetan Monastery.

Ta'er Temple is a huge scale. The entire temple is distributed on the two slopes of Lianhua Mountain. It has a history of more than 600 years. It has many temple buildings, including magnificent halls and simple houses. For Tibetans, Ta'er Temple is not only a temple, but also an institution of higher learning.

At around 5 pm, the lamas of Ta'er Temple would gather in the square in front of the hall, and then they would have a debate. The debate is a form of communication and learning by Tibetan Buddhist Lamas. Although we cannot understand Tibetan, their pursuit of true knowledge is indeed shocking.

The temples in the evening seemed much quieter. When you walk into Buddhist temples, lifelike butter flowers and colorful murals all present the mystery of Tibetan Buddhism before you.

Standing on the Lotus Peak, overlooking the entire Taer Temple, layered houses filled the valley, like an ancient city.Walking in the Tibetan Buddhist temple, people will feel much quieter, because of the mystery here and the shyness of the lamas.
