Five aggregates
The five aggregates are empty and silent in parallel.
One of the names of the aggregate contains the meanings of accumulation and harmony.Each aggregate is formed by the accumulation of many similar laws, which is the summary and sum of many similar laws, so it is called an aggregate;At the same time, every sentient being exists from the combination of the five aggregates, so it is also called a aggregate.
1、Form aggregate: The obstruction and deterioration are the form of color.There are two types of these: one touch becomes deteriorated, and the two sides show that they appear.The visible material phenomena have mutual obstacles, such as water and fire, black and white, etc.The material method is a physical and physical conditioned method, which is neither strong nor firm. When the hands, feet, stones, swords, and sticks are touched by cold and heat, even if it becomes bad, it is called touched and deteriorated.In the void, the sun rises and the sunsets are famous in the west. When it is clockwise, it will be north and south. It is formed from the four directions. If there is no color method, there will be no place for the direction. Therefore, the second is the name and color shown in the direction.
The colors include blue, yellow, red and white colors, length, square and round colors, shaking lips and tongues, flexing hands and feet, four major colors of earth, water, fire and wind, and five dust-free colors.Among them, the three types of color rendering, form and color representing are the narrow-sense colors seen by the eyes in the five dusts. If the four major colors and color creation are added, they are the broad-sense colors.The color of the form aggregate is the color in a broad sense.All the colors in the three worlds and ten directions gather together, and the name and form aggregates are summarized.
2、Receiving: receiving is called receiving, referring to the situation where sentient beings are in favor of favor, against, and not both, including suffering, happiness, and abandonment. (Or increase worries or joy )various feelings and feelings.This feeling aggregate includes all the receiving of all sentient beings in the three worlds and ten directions.Volume 9 of "Theory of Dharma Aggregation" says: How to receive the aggregate?It means that all feelings, other feelings, different feelings, nature, and feelings are captured by them, which is called the feeling aggregate.There are two more feelings, which are called the feeling aggregate, which refers to the feeling of the body and the feeling of the mind.How can you bear it?It means that the five consciousnesses correspond to all the feelings, and even the feelings that are captured by them, is called body feelings.How can you feel?It means that the consciousness corresponds to all feelings, and even the feelings that are captured by the feelings, is called the feelings of mind, and there are two feelings, which are called the feelings of feeling, which means the feelings of taste, and the feelings of taste without taste.How can you feel?The thoughts of Wei are related to the feelings, and even the feelings are captured by them, which is called the feeling of taste.How can you feel without taste?It means that the feelings corresponding to the thoughts without leakage, and even the feelings are absorbed by the feelings, which is called tasteless feelings.In this way, there is taste and no taste, and it falls into the feeling and does not fall into the feeling. It should be known that the feeling is always contained in the feeling aggregate.
3、Idea: Taking appearance as thought based on name, that is, the conceptual activity of consciousness belongs to thinking, judgment, reasoning, etc.This thought includes all sentient beings in the three worlds and ten directions.Volume 11 of "Jiyimen Theory" says: Question: How do you think about the aggregate?Answer: All thoughts are past, future, present, inside, outside, coarse, fine, inferior, superior, far, near;Everything like this is a little gathered, and it is said to be the connotation of thought.
4、Action: Action has creation (Such as the consciousness of action and fate among the twelve dependent origination )、Moving (Such as the impermanence of all actions in the three Dharma seals )Two meanings.If the actions of the actions here are from the forty-nine kinds of corresponding actions, the actions of the actions are from the forty-nine kinds of actions. (Apart from the two mental factors of feeling and thinking in the omnipresent, because these two mental factors have been established as the two aggregates of feeling and thinking )Words have both meanings of creation and movement.Because when the corresponding practice method corresponds to the mind king, it has the meaning of creation;The corresponding practice method is also a conditioned method, which is impermanent and changing, so it also has the meaning of transition.If you follow the twenty-four false Dharma words that do not correspond to the mind, they only have the meaning of movement and not the meaning of creation.From the perspective of the entire action, both creation and movement have.How many laws are included in the practice aggregate?In the "Mahayana Five Aggregations Treatise" and "Mahayana Five Aggregations Treatise", there are only forty-nine corresponding practice methods and fourteen uncorrelated practice methods, totaling sixty-three. In fact, the twenty-four uncorrelated practice methods listed in the "Hundred Dharmas" should be included in the practice aggregate, and this should be seventy-three.All actions in the three worlds and ten directions gather together, and are collectively called the aggregate of actions.
5、Consciousness: Consciousness means distinction, and recognition means awareness, and distinction means distinction. Consciousness has the function of awareness and distinction on the realm, so it is called consciousness.In today's words, understand the name consciousness.There are two ways to understand, one is to be able to recognize, that is, the law of the mind;Second, being recognized, that is, all things (This also includes the mind and mind method that can be understood )。Being able to combine knowledge with what you know is the meaning of knowledge.Therefore, consciousness includes all dharmas.However, the consciousness aggregate here is established after the four aggregates of form, feeling, thinking, and volition. At the same time, the action aggregate also includes all the laws of the mind. Based on the consciousness aggregate, the consciousness of this consciousness aggregate should only refer to the eight consciousnesses of the mind, that is, (Eye consciousness, ear consciousness, nose consciousness, tongue consciousness, body consciousness, manas consciousness, Alaya consciousness )。The eight consciousnesses of all sentient beings in the three worlds and ten directions gather together, and are collectively called the consciousness aggregate.Volume 11 of the "Collection of Yimen" says: What is the consciousness aggregate?Answer: All consciousnesses, whether past, present, or future, inside or outside, or coarse or subtle, or inferior, or superior, or far or near, are all, and are briefly gathered, and are called the aggregate of consciousness.
The five aggregates of this kind are Volume 27 of the Yoga Sage: It means that there are five aggregates: the form aggregate, the feeling aggregate, the thought aggregate, the action aggregate, and the consciousness aggregate.What kind of color?It means that all colors are created by the four major species and the four major species.This is also like a more than a few, like a future, like a present, like an inside, like an outside, like a coarse, like a fine, like a inferior, like a superior, like a far, like a near, like a general name and form.How to receive the aggregate?It means that some follow the joyful touch is the cause of all feelings, some follow the suffering and touch is the cause of all feelings, and some follow the suffering and touch is the cause of all feelings.There are six sense bodies: the feelings arise from the eyes and touches, the feelings arise from the ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind, which are generally called the sense aggregate.How do you think about it?It means having form thoughts, no form thoughts, narrow thoughts, broad thoughts, infinite thoughts, and no thoughts in everything.There are six thoughts on the body: the thoughts arise from the eyes and touches, and the thoughts arise from the ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind touches, which are always called the thought aggregate.How can you do it?It means that the six thoughts on the body are born from the eyes and touches, and the thoughts generated by the ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind.If there is something left, the mind method is eliminated, and the mind method is generally called the action aggregate.How can you know the aggregate?It is the mind consciousness.There are also six consciousnesses: the eye consciousness, ears, nose, tongue, body, and consciousness, which are generally called consciousness aggregate.
Among the five aggregates, the previous form aggregate is the image manifested by the mind and mind laws of the last four aggregates, and is also the object of the recognition of the last four aggregates.Of course, the last four aggregates can show images (Color aggregate )The mind and mind are the four aggregates of the mind and mind are both capable and responsible. (All things, including the ability, are all things that are not the object of )。All sentient beings in the world are formed by the combination of the five aggregates and dharmas, and the material realm is composed of the form aggregates among the five aggregates and dharmas.If you are separated from the five aggregates, there is no sentient world or material world to obtain.However, the five aggregates themselves are also like color gathering foam, feeling like bubbles, thinking like yang flames, movement like banana leaves, and consciousness like illusion. (See "The Sutra of the Inconceivable Buddha Realm" by Manjushri )There is not true, there is no real five aggregates to obtain.Even the five aggregates are like this. There is nothing in which I and I can obtain the sentient beings and world formed by the five aggregates.The Heart Sutra says: Form is not different from emptiness, emptiness is not different from form, form is emptiness, emptiness is form, and feeling, thinking, action and consciousness are the same.This further shows that all the five aggregates have non-real existence, emptiness is not stubborn and empty, but the middle way of neither existence nor emptiness.If people can use wisdom to see the true nature of the five aggregates, they can break the attachment to Dharma;Seeing that people are formed by the combination of the five aggregates. Without the five aggregates and without the real self, one can break the attachment to self.By eliminating the two attachments, one can reach the world where the five aggregates are empty and all sufferings can be eliminated.This is the principle of the five aggregates and the original emptiness and silence.
