Master of the Dharma Realm: Lecture 10 of the Diamond Sutra

Han people 2025-05-25

Lecture 10

Good evening everyone! Everyone has not been exposed to Buddhism for a long time, and they all understand some of their own opinions.By constantly practicing and reading the scriptures and combining the conclusions of current scientific development research to compare the movement and changes of the universe, we can develop our own wisdom.

What Sakyamuni Buddha and Lao Tzu talk about are the truth of the laws of the universe. The truth does not change according to a certain person's thinking. The laws of the universe are originally like that. No matter what language or method you use, it is impossible to explain clearly, because our language is narrow-minded.

As humans, language is already very rich, but it can only be said to be at this level of humanity. If it is far from enough on the level of heaven, it is far from being explained clearly.

As an ordinary person, observing the changes in the universe can only explain a little bit of dust.If you are a great saint, you can really observe eighty or ninety percent of the universe, but not 100 percent, because the universe is changing all the time.

Shakyamuni Buddha lets us practice, which is actually to let us master the laws of life and the laws of life of the universe. The laws of life of the universe are closely related to the laws of life of human beings. Many people may not understand it after practicing it all their lives. Many people have never practiced their practices, but have heard of the Dharma and can also know some subtle changes between life and the universe. This change is the interaction between your own energy and the cosmic energy. If you cannot interact, everything will be fake. If you don’t know where life comes from, and if you don’t know where to go to death, you will die in a daze.

In ancient times, many people understood where life came from and where death went, and they all had to ask the bottom line. However, later, Buddhist theories were used as the mainstream culture, and it absorbed many theories of other sects, such as many essences of Taoism, and then integrated them together to create a method that could not see the ancients in front of them or the people behind them.

Zen and Tiantai Sect are both self-enlightenment and self-evident methods. They can be said to be called Zen, but there are still some differences in it.Tiantai Sect is the three levels of one mind, and Zen is the self-enlightenment of one's nature. In fact, it is just one thing, but it uses two languages, and the final result is the same.

What is the Pure Land Method? Let me tell you about it.Those who practice Pure Land Buddhism only know how to recite Amitabha Buddha. In fact, there are some subdivided methods in Pure Land Buddhism. For example, to observe the statue of Amitabha Buddha and worship Amitabha Buddha, this is a method.Meditation and meditation into the image of Amitabha Buddha is another method.Reciting Amitabha Buddha with his mouth is also a method.Dedication is another method.

There are many subdivided methods in Pure Land Sect. There is the most extraordinary method in the Pure Land Sect called the Three Flavors of Banzhou. You only eat one meal a day and one night, and walk in a temple 24 hours a day and night. If you can walk for a day and a night, your merit will be very great. If you can walk for a week, you can destroy your sins for countless kalpas.

When the four aspects are gone, the Dharma forms are gone, and the human and the Dharma are empty, Amitabha Buddha and the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the ten directions will naturally appear before your eyes.It is very painful to practice this method. People who have never heard of it will not believe it at all.

The popular meditation in society now is just the primary qigong. It uses language to induce your six senses and six consciousnesses. That theory is completely qigong. It is definitely not the same as what is shown by true self-nature.The theory of yoga is to raise your state of thought to the same thing as what Sakyamuni Buddha said and Lao Tzu said, it is something that opens up your own nature, not something that has the six senses.Meditation can only be used in primary practice, but not in intermediate practice. After crossing the primary river, the raft and boat have to be abandoned and cannot be used.

When Shakyamuni Buddha said that if a person in the Dharma-Ending Age could really walk the three flavors of the boat, his merits and blessings would not be described in words.

Once I have the opportunity in the future, I can invite everyone to walk on the boat together, because there must be a fixed place to practice this method, so that everyone can keep walking within 24 hours. It would be great if everyone could persevere for a day and cultivate a good root.If you can persist for three days, you will be amazing. Many of your sins in this life have been eliminated, and your mental strength is very strong, and a lot of wisdom will be opened.

Everyone has learned physiology, and the brain has been developed by 10 to 20%, which is a normal person.Twenty to twenty-five percent are abnormal people, such as scientists and inventors.Development twenty-five upwards means superman, such as Einstein.Five percent downwards are called dementia.

There are still 70% or 80% of the places that have not been developed, which are the pure Tathagatagarbha that we used to have not been developed at all.If you really develop to 30 to 50%, then you are a great enlightened person and a living Buddha in humanity. What is a living Buddha? The lamas in Tibet can be called a living Buddha because they have a certain level. If the Han people also have this certain level, they can also be a living Buddha. The living Buddha is a living enlightened person. The dead Buddha is called Nirvana Buddha.

Don’t think about Buddhism very narrowly, believing that Buddhism is Buddhism and Taoism is Taoism. These two are just different words. One is the Tao spoken by Lao Tzu, and the other is called Buddhism. In fact, they are both one, regardless of you or me, or each other. If you have the opportunity in the future, I will take you to walk on the three flavors of the Pagoda. You will know that Tao and Buddha are the same.

If your heart stands high, your theory will be high and your thoughts will be broad. If your platform is very low, your thinking will not be open. Therefore, those who practice must put their horizons at the highest point so that you can see it very clearly.

The method of walking on the boat can open your memory within seven days, see many scenery, and see Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. When walking on the boat in 2003, a friend entered the wall with half his face. He said he saw the Western Paradise. Fortunately, his master quickly pulled him out.If he wanted to enter the wall, he would never come back. His body had turned into dust and merged with the wall, but his thinking had entered another world because he had seen the Pure Land and Amitabha Buddha at that time. His master said that he had already run to the lotus pond to chant Amitabha Buddha, so he quickly pulled him out. When he came out, everyone asked him if his face hurt, and he said he didn't feel it.

There are many things that everyone has never heard of. We have seen a lot of things, but we all think it is a kind of illusion and is not real at all.The real thing is only what is in the self-nature.It is said that someone has a function. Although this thing is very real to us humans, it is false and illusory in our nature.

So I will just tell you a little bit and introduce you to this method.

Okay, let’s get back to the right book, burn the incense at home, and the incense that is not at home, the incense is nine pillars. Everyone is ready. We put our hands together, take a deep breath, and then exhale all the mortal air in our bodies.

Please pray to the Eastern leader Namo Medicine Buddha Liuli Light Tathagata!

Pray to the Western leader Namo Amitabha!

Please pray to the Saha Master, our teacher, Namo, Shakyamuni Buddha!

The incense burner suddenly heats up, the Dharma Realm is intoxicated, and all Buddhas will be heard from afar, and auspicious clouds will be formed everywhere, and sincerity will be strong, and all Buddhas will appear in their entire bodies.

The supreme, profound and subtle Dharma is difficult to encounter in hundreds of thousands of disasters. Now I have seen, heard, received and upheld, and I wish to understand the true meaning of Tathagata.

What is said is divided into 21

Subhuti.Don’t say that Tathagata has this thought.I should have something to say.Don't make this thought. Why?If someone says that the Tathagata has something to say. That is to slander the Buddha.I can't understand what I said.Subhuti.Saying the word. There is no way to say. This is a saying. And the time of wisdom and life Subhuti said to the Buddha.World Honored One.There are quite a lot of sentient beings. In the future.Hearing and saying this is the Dharma. No faith.Buddha said.Subhuti.That is not a sentient being. It is not a sentient being.Why?Subhuti.All living beings.Tathagata said that it is not sentient beings. This is called sentient beings.

Not what is said. From the perspective of non-sense, we already understand that non-sense is false or empty. It is called empty talk. No matter how much empty talk is, it is not worth it. If the mind does not act, the mind does not do it, the words are empty talk, and empty talk is non-sense.Only the saying of the heart is the true saying.

【Subhuti.Don’t say that Tathagata has this thought.I should have something to say.Don't make this thought.】If you can hear this from beginning to end, you already know. When Sakyamuni Buddha talked about this chapter, he told us that only when you truly practice the Prajna Paramita, can you achieve the fruit you deserve. For example, the Arhat fruit, the Eighth-level Bodhisattva fruit, and the One True Dharma Realm Fruit of the Buddha.

《The Diamond Sutra says this and tells us that if you really practice Prajna Paramita with all your heart, you will succeed very quickly. The mouth keeps talking every day, and the heart doesn't do it, it's all called saying it.

Subhuti, if you think I have obtained a Dharma and preach it, then you are wrong. Don’t have this kind of thought.I can only explain the truth if I have nothing to gain.If my heart gains something to explain to you, then I am an ordinary person.I am the Dharma spoken by an ordinary person, and I will not be in harmony with the truth of the universe, nor will I solve the mystery for you according to the opportunity.Sakyamuni Buddha has such a mentality.

From the secret meaning, it means that your self-nature is unmoving, your mind has no gains, and your mind has no worries. There is no Dharma to talk about. If you think there is any Dharma to talk about, it means that you have not yet understood your self-nature.From the perspective of us ordinary people, you are still an ordinary person. When ordinary people preach, their minds gain something.saint (Self-nature )When preaching, the mind has no gain, it means that the mind has no worries, but just preaching according to the situation, not saying anything about it, it is true emptiness and wonderful existence. When you have problems, your nature is educated according to the situation, and will be miserable without leaving any trace.

Sakyamuni Buddha taught the Dharma for 49 years, but only the Amitabha Sutra was one method that he said without any invitation. The rest of the Dharma was said according to the opportunity, and he answered it because others asked. If you come from the nature, there is an unattainable Dharma, and there is no Dharma to tell you.Sakyamuni Buddha saw that the blessings of sentient beings in the last days were very thin and their karma were very large, so he gave us a convenient method to recite Amitabha Buddha and be reborn with karma. This is a method that Sakyamuni Buddha compassions with sentient beings in the Dharma-Ending Age, and he speaks without asking himself as the method of reciting the Buddha's name. The method of chanting Buddha's name was later named by the Chinese. At that time, Sakyamuni Buddha and the monks in India did not name it the method of reciting the Buddha's name.

This is the Buddha's further breaking the doubts in everyone's mind and not having any Dharma appearance. The true nature of the true nature is the mind and the mind is invisible. There is no law to be spoken. What is spoken is just a false name as Dharma, but not Dharma. The Dharma cannot be expressed, but the mind is imprinted with the mind.

【Why?If someone says that the Tathagata has something to say. That is to slander the Buddha.I can't understand what I said.】Do you know why you should not have the idea of "I should have something to say"? If someone says that I, Tathagata, I, Sakyamuni Buddha, and went to preach the Dharma, it would be a slander of the Buddha.Still don't understand what I said.As mentioned earlier, everything the Buddha said is a tool that refers to the moon, but it is not the moon and cannot be equated with the Tathagata of the Self-Nature.

When slandering the Buddha, the first thing is to slander me, Shakyamuni Buddha, and the second thing is to slander the Buddha of the self-nature, that is, you are scolding yourself.Because each of us is a Buddha, our nature is a Buddha, our heart is a Buddha, and our heart is a Buddha. You don’t understand what I, Sakyamuni Buddha, are talking about. From this sentence, I can prove that Sakyamuni Buddha talks about the universe, the methods, theories and truths of the universe, and there is no Sakyamuni Buddha's own things at all.He has gained nothing.

《In the Amitabha Sutra, he also observed that Amitabha Buddha has such great vows, and only Amitabha Buddha can save sentient beings in the last days, sow good roots for everyone, and give everyone a convenient method to be reborn with karma. These are all indefinite meanings, not the ultimate method, but there is no way.Take some karma and practice it slowly. But from another classic, I talked about it from the ninth-grade lotus platform. You have to drive backwards and return to the Saha world to save others. When you save others, you are correcting yourself and practicing karma.

【Subhuti. The speaker has no choice but to say. This is a saying.】The Dharma is directed at afflictions. If there is no afflictions, there will be no Dharma, and there will be no Dharma to say.

Those who truly preach the Dharma have nothing to gain in their hearts. If there is no problem, there will be no Dharma to speak, and there is no way to speak, so it is called "unable to speak".If you have no problems, how can you get the trouble?Only when there are troubles will there be problems. Sakyamuni Buddha has achieved no troubles and has been pure and nirvana. Where can he say a Dharma? His teachings are all based on other people's opportunities.I have no worries and no Dharma to practice and say.It is because sentient beings need me to preach the Dharma and to say from the name of name, I seem to be preaching to you.

If we talk about secret meanings, our nature speaks the Dharma every day, we can consider this. For example, if you have something in your mind that you have not handled well, you will constantly judge yourself. Why is this matter not handled well? Which method I use to handle it more appropriately? This is called self-nature saying.Everyone can experience this process. The self-nature preaching is directed at the sentient beings who have troubled oneself. The self-nature is still unmoving, but it is just a name called preaching. If the heart is pure, there is nothing to say.

Sakyamuni Buddha has no problem with himself, he has no Dharma anymore, what does it mean to have no Dharma? If he has no worries, there will be no Dharma to cure it.All living beings have 84,000 kinds of troubles, but I, Shakyamuni Buddha, said 84,000 kinds of methods to correspond to their illness, so it is called preaching. If everyone has pure nature, then what else can I say about Shakyamuni Buddha? If you say it, it is called slandering the Buddha, which is called slandering the Dharma.

If everyone can reflect on themselves from their own nature, and achieve the purity of their own nature, unity of mind and mind, and unity of knowledge and action, it is impossible to say.

You will have the opportunity to read the Vimalakirti Sutra in the future, and it has been explained clearly.Because the Diamond Sutra is drawn from the six hundred Prajna Sutras, it will take a certain amount of time to truly understand the Prajna Sutra.

It is impossible to say that it tells us that our nature must be pure. When you are pure and inaction, it is naturally impossible to say. On the surface, it can only be said that it is called saying, it is a manifestation of the Dharma.

【And the time of wisdom and life Subhuti said to the Buddha.World Honored One.There are quite a lot of sentient beings. In the future.Hearing and saying this is the Dharma. No faith.Buddha said.Subhuti.That is not a sentient being. It is not a sentient being.Why?Subhuti.All living beings.Tathagata said that it is not sentient beings. This is called sentient beings.】When it is, this time.Wisdom is wisdom. This wisdom life has shown that Subhuti has attained the Arhat fruit. After Shakyamuni Buddha explained that paragraph before, the very wise Subhuti immediately asked the Buddha, World Honored One, if many sentient beings in the last days hear this scripture or the Dharma, can they develop faith in their hearts?

The Buddha told Subhuti that if such sentient beings hear and truly develop faith in their hearts, they will not be those sentient beings who have lost their nature. Those who are not sentient beings, who do not lose their own nature are no longer sentient beings of ordinary people, but are already enlightened by their own nature.Subhuti, do you know what the reason?

Immediately afterwards, the Buddha said: All sentient beings are sentient beings.Tathagata said that it is not sentient beings. This is called sentient beings."Sentient beings" are just a temporary false name.Because in order to distinguish things in the world, things must be given a name. For example, houses, horses, carriages, people, trees, flowers, mountains, rivers and earth, we must give it a name so that we can feel comfortable in our hearts.

Sakyamuni Buddha gave Subhuti a further instruction that such sentient beings are no longer lost sentient beings, because their self-nature has been pure and has been integrated into one form, just giving a false name to sentient beings for the convenience of expression. As long as his nature is not obsessed with, not confused, or confused, he will not call sentient beings. He can only say that he will give him a name and temporarily serve sentient beings. When Buddhas and Bodhisattvas come again, we all call them sentient beings, which is also a false name.

The true secret meaning means that when his nature is neither obsessed nor deluded, or indifferent, and pure and inaction, we can call him a name: Buddha, Arhat, and Bodhisattva. But he is not among sentient beings, because Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and Arhats do not belong to sentient beings within the three realms, but to creatures outside the three realms. All sentient beings in the three realms are confused and deluded, so they are called sentient beings. The true self-nature is pure and ineffective, it can only be said to add a name to him to facilitate distinction between pigs, cats, and dogs.In fact, pigs, cats and dogs are also one of the kind among sentient beings. Sakyamuni Buddha mainly talks about humans.Because Subhuti asked whether people from the last days later could develop faith in their hearts after hearing this Dharma.Sakyamuni Buddha said that those who have faith are not called sentient beings; those who cannot have faith are called sentient beings. This is still not without self-nature.

Can't score 22

Subhuti said to the Buddha.World Honored One.The Buddha attained the Anuttara Samyaksambodhi. It’s because there is nothing to gain.Buddha said. This is like this.Subhuti.I am at Anuttara Samyaksambodhi. There is even no small way to obtain. This is called Anuttara Samyaksambodhi.

Unable to obtain, free from form and form, and unity are all about our own nature. If you really have pure and inaction in your own nature, what else can you get? When you have the mind of the Dharma, the mind of ordinary people is still the mind of ordinary people.Only when you truly have no attachment to the Dharma in your heart, you will be unable to obtain and your self-nature is pure.Just like you eat every day, you will naturally cook and eat when you are hungry, and no one will force you.It is not appropriate for me to use the eating of ordinary people as a metaphor, because the self-nature cannot be described in words. There is no way, we can only use the narrow language of ordinary people to compare them.

Only things that naturally manifest in your own nature will not have attachment. For example, dressing, eating, sleeping, walking, sitting, and lying down, there is no need for others to force it. This is an act of inaction and everything. When it's time to sleep, you will definitely lie in a comfortable place. If you are allowed to lie in the toilet, you will definitely feel uneasy.

There will be something in our own nature that is mediated by our own nature, that is, do not be attached to the conditioned laws of the world. The active things are things that open the six senses, then the six consciousnesses and six dusts, or they are wandering around the eyes, ears, nose, mouth, tongue, body and mind.Self-nature is something that breaks out of the six senses.

The Buddha said that when you truly want to have no gain or gain, there is only one thing, purity. What is behind this purity is that you should not be attached to the Dharma image, and you should not be attached to the four appearances of our lives. After you put aside all human laws and do not become attached, you will naturally be in your heart.

It cannot be called supreme wisdom and supreme Taoism.I use Chinese Taoism to say that this Tao is actually the law of the universe, and supreme wisdom can see the supreme laws of the universe. At this time, your heart will be purified because you know that the laws of the universe are beyond your control, which means that you have no way to deal with the laws of the universe's movement. This can also be called the inseparable meaning. If you understand the laws of the universe, you will know that human science or human laws cannot be compared with the universe. When it is incomparable, it is also called unavailable.

You cannot use your own thoughts of mortals in the world to control the laws of the universe. This is also called irretrievable, and this is from the perspective of secret meaning.

【Subhuti said to the Buddha.World Honored One.The Buddha attained the Anuttara Samyaksambodhi. It’s because there is nothing to gain.Buddha said. This is like this.Subhuti.I am at Anuttara Samyaksambodhi. There is even no small way to obtain. This is called Anuttara Samyaksambodhi.】You can understand the title before, and the latter paragraph will be clearer.

Subhuti asked, World Honored One, how did you achieve the supreme enlightenment? Why did you gain nothing? After you attained the Buddha's fruit, why did you say that you had nothing to gain? This is Subhuti asking him.

The Buddha told him that he asked well, and he should have asked well, and he should have asked this.

Subhuti, I have attained the Anuttara Samyaksambodhi, that is, I have attained the supreme enlightenment, and I have no attachment to the Dharma at all, that is, there is no concept of obtaining the Dharma or not obtaining the Dharma at all, that is, my own nature and my mind, and there is no attachment to the small Dharma of action and the great Dharma of inaction. It is precisely because I do not attach to small Dharmas of action and great Dharmas of inaction that I attain the supreme enlightenment, so I call it the supreme enlightenment. As long as your mind and mind are truly destroyed, when the mind and action are destroyed, the Bodhi of your own nature will naturally appear.

If I have the little bit of Bodhi, I will be an ordinary person.Because I am attached to Dharma appearance, there is another self.Only when I have no self or no form can I truly obtain the supreme and correct enlightenment. The supreme enlightenment is the pure bodhicitta, or the nirvana mind, or the Buddha mind, so it is said that it is impossible to obtain the name.

In the Diamond Sutra that Sakyamuni Buddha talked about, every part of the self-nature talks about the things of the self-nature. Do not cling to the Dharma image, do not cling to the four appearances. Only after all the Dharma image and the four appearances are eliminated can one truly attain the Anuttara Samyaksambodhi.

The 23rd part of doing good deeds in a pure mind

Subhuti. It is equal to law.Nothing good or bad. This is called Anuttara Samyaksambodhi. With no self.unmanned.No sentient beings. Those who have no life.Practice all good deeds. Then you will attain the Anuttara Samyaksambodhi.Subhuti.The good deeds mentioned.Tathagata says that it is not a good deed. This is called good deeds.

Do good deeds with purifying your mind. From this title, we can understand that the original words of "purifying mind" are "Brahma Heart", which means that your ordinary person's mind must be purified and quiet, and do good deeds in this way. This is understood from the surface. If you understand it from the perspective of your own nature, only when you reach the same level as the universe, the actions you do can be called good deeds. It is definitely a bad thing to do against the will of heaven.Doing and doing things in accordance with the heavens is basically a good deed, which is from the perspective of one's own nature.

From the perspective of Dharma, as long as there is still a attachment to Dharma in your mind, then emotions will have a higher or lower level. What is love? Because people have emotions, the emotions of seven emotions will be divided into high and low. When we distinguish between high and low, sometimes we will not be able to grasp it, and the discriminating mind will come out, and we will not be able to purify our mind and do good deeds.

【Subhuti. It is equal to law.Nothing good or bad. This is called Anuttara Samyaksambodhi.】Analyzing from this paragraph, Sakyamuni Buddha once again told Subhuti that all dharmas are equal and unique, and there is no high or low. This is an analysis from the surface.

If we look at the secret meaning and the Dharma meaning, this sentence will have a real taste. There is a saying in our world: Everyone is equal before the law.Is it really equal? Not equal.Everyone is equal before the laws of the world. Is it the same as the laws in Buddhism, and there is no high or low? Isn’t it the same? No.From the perspective of ordinary people on the surface, these two can sometimes be equal.

From the perspective of practice, the opportunity for practice and practice are the same. This is called equality of Dharma and no superiority. The beginning is the same, not the foundation is the same. For example, if the master passes a mantra, one person, ten people, and ten thousand people, it is all this mantra, and it is equal. It’s not that if you have money, the master will pass on you a secret Dharma. If your family is poor, the master will pass on you an ordinary Dharma.Whether it is poor or rich, they are treated the same way, and they must start from the basics. It’s not because your family has money, you don’t need to practice the basics. You can pass on a secret method and reach the sky in one step. This is impossible, that is, love leads to high and low. This love is because your family has money. I have love. What kind of love did I have? Fake compassion, this is called human affection.Sometimes human favors can delay things.

From the perspective of self-nature, the Dharma is equal. This Dharma refers to the nature of the mind. Everyone's mind is perfect and complete, has the wisdom of the Tathagata, is perfect and unobstructed, is neither increasing nor decreasing, neither born nor destroyed, neither dirty nor clean. We give it a false name called Anuttara Samyaksambodhi.I can only say that now we are in the ordinary world, and there are some differences. We are equal and unique in the fruit field, without high and low.Neither Sakyamuni Buddha nor Dari Tathagata are tall, because they are the same person.Shakyamuni Buddha and I are also the same person. In terms of name, his name is Sakyamuni Buddha, and my name is the Dharma Realm. From the perspective of self-nature, Shakyamuni Buddha and I are the same person, he is me, I am him.Because the mind corresponds to each other, it is the Buddha, and the Dharma is connected with each other, it is the saint. Therefore, from the perspective of self-nature, we are all perfect and unobstructed, equal and have no superiority.

Only when your mind is truly pure and ineffective, and when there is no Dharma appearance and self appearance, the Dharma is equal and there is no high or low, which is reflected. This is something of the self, not something on the surface.

【With no self.unmanned.No sentient beings. Those who have no life.Practice all good deeds. Then you will attain the Anuttara Samyaksambodhi.】If we really have no self-nature in our hearts and are alive, then you can achieve Anuttara Samyaksambodhi by practicing all good deeds.

The practice of all good deeds here is not good deeds of ideological distinction. After the four aspects of the Dharma are not manifested, one's own mind and nature will naturally reflect good deeds. This good deeds are not good deeds of love and hate, but pure good deeds. When one's mind is pure, all the good deeds are revealed, which is the supreme enlightenment.

From the perspective of the stage of practice, all good deeds include conditioned and inactional deeds, such as the traditional culture of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, theories of Austria, the scriptures taught by Sakyamuni Buddha and Lao Tzu, etc., are all good deeds. If we leave the four aspects and practice all good deeds, we can attain pure bodhicitta. As long as you truly reach the point where there is no self, no human, no sentient beings, no life, and no form, and when a thought is pure, you will practice all the good deeds in the world and eventually reach the Anuttara Samyaksambodhi.

It does not mean that you have truly become a Buddha, that you can attain the pure Bodhicitta. Sakyamuni Buddha did not say that by practicing all good deeds, you can attain the Buddha's fruit. There is still a certain difference.Sakyamuni Buddha practiced so many good deeds, but he did not obtain the Buddha's fruit.Anyone who has read the teachings of Sakyamuni Buddha knows that he started to study the Five Mingshu since he was a child, and then after leaving the palace, he studied yoga for six years. This is all good deeds, but he has not attained the Buddha's fruit.

After entering into meditation and observing under the Bodhi tree, he attained Buddhahood. This sentence shows that practicing good deeds is not your ultimate goal. Practicing all these good deeds can only show that you are close to the Buddha's fruit. But to be sure, all the good deeds you practice can help you gain wisdom and pure bodhicitta. This paragraph of Sakyamuni Buddha talks about.

Secret meaning means that your nature should not be contaminated with all worldly laws, do not have Dharma appearances, and do not have illegal appearances. If you are obsessed with attachment and attachment, and your mind is still an ordinary person in the world.Only when you practice all good deeds with no attachment can you attain Anuttara Samyaksambodhi.

You must understand and look at the sutras taught by Sakyamuni Buddha from several aspects. The first is to first understand the text surface first, then understand it from the secret meaning, and then understand it from the self-nature. At this time, you will know what Sakyamuni Buddha is talking about.

【Subhuti. The good deeds mentioned.Tathagata said. That is, it is not a good deed. This is called good deeds.】The Buddha further explained here that people who truly do good do not have the mentality of doing good, and do not have the concept of doing good, they are all the expressions of their original nature. Therefore, good deeds are the mind, invisible and formless, the nature of the Tathagata, and the void, just to give it a false name called good deeds for the sake of expression. This still refers to the mentality, not having any polluted mentality or a state of residence.

Fuzhi scores 24th

Subhuti. If it is in the three thousand great worlds. All the Kings of Mount Sumeru. This is how the seven treasures gather together. Some people insist on giving. If a person uses this Prajna Paramita Sutra.Even four verses, etc.Receive, read and recite.Say for others.Fortune before.Less than one percent.Hundreds and thousands of billions of cents.Even arithmetics cannot reach.

Extremely blessed and wise.Great blessings and wisdom. If you truly cultivate to the point where you have complete blessings and wisdom, you cannot use the mortal activity to describe it.No matter how much you donate seven treasures like Mount Sumeru or there are so many sands in the Ganges River, such blessings are very great, but they are still promising.

When you truly cultivate your own nature and do nothing, your blessings and wisdom cannot be compared with human language.Because the blessings and wisdom of one's nature have been fully fulfilled, it is like the void.Since it is like the void, the metaphors of the world are too small, and must be too small.

【Subhuti. If it is in the three thousand great worlds. All the Kings of Mount Sumeru. This is how the seven treasures gather together. Some people insist on giving. If a person uses this Prajna Paramita Sutra.Even four verses, etc.Receive, read and recite.Say for others.Fortune before.Less than one percent.Hundreds and thousands of billions of cents.Even arithmetics cannot reach.】If there are three thousand great thousand worlds, all the seven treasures of Mount Sumeru King gather together. What is really about our own nature. Our own nature is greed, anger and ignorance each occupy a vast world. There is Mount Sumeru in the Three Thousand Worlds. Mount Sumeru is like a demon who controls your acquired thinking. If you make mistakes and impulses, these are all our delusions and troubles. This devil king is relative to our pure mind, because he is the king of troubles, and he can also be said to be the king of Mount Sumeru.

In Buddhism, Mount Sumeru is used to describe something that is very big or very high. Each Mount Sumeru king has so many seven treasures as in the Three Thousand Great Thousand Worlds, not to mention that there are so many Mount Sumeru kings in the Three Thousand Great Thousand Worlds. When they gather these seven treasures together, they will give alms.

If a person upholds this Diamond Sutra, whether it is one sentence or four sentences, or reads or gives speeches to others, compared with the donations of Mount Sumeru Kings, the ability of Mount Sumeru Kings is equivalent to one percent of the people who have not yet arrived, that is, a percentage of the contribution. The King of Mount Sumeru used all the seven treasures to give alms, which was better than this person to understand this verse and recite this scripture every day.

The merits of upholding, reading and reciting the speeches of people are immeasurable. The seven treasures are only less than one percent of the other person's, and even hundreds of thousands of trillions of points cannot be compared. They cannot be compared.

Although they did not use treasures to give alms after reading this sutra, when they used scriptures to explain to others and explained the true principles of the universe, their wisdom and blessings were incomparable.

From the perspective of self-nature, it means that you have achieved a pure mind, that is, Bodhicitta. When you explain to others, you use your most pure bodhicitta to others.Uphold, recite, and write by oneself, all of which are done in a pure Brahmacharya. Therefore, you cannot use the seven treasures to describe your good deeds at this time.

Everyone should understand what the Diamond Sutra is for. After all, it means that our nature must be pure and inaction, and we must be able to distinguish between action and inaction.Only when one cultivates one's blessings and wisdom can one achieve great success. The blessings and wisdom are as big as the universe and as big as the void, which cannot be described in words.

Today I will talk about the twenty-fourth chapter. What you can understand in the Diamond Sutra will go very smoothly afterwards because it will not be very difficult later. It was difficult before the fourteenth chapter, but it will basically not be difficult after the fourteenth chapter, because we have already understood the difficult things, and the subsequent things will be easier to absorb and digest.

OK, let's dedicate it together:

I wish to use this merit to adorn the Buddha's Pure Land.Repay the four levels of kindness and save the sufferings of the three paths.

If you see and hear, you will develop the Bodhicitta.Only this reward body will be born in the Pure Land together.

Om...ah...Hum...

I respectfully send all Buddhas and Tathagatas in all directions! I respectfully send all Buddhas and Tathagatas! I respectfully send all the heavenly dragons to protect the Dharma!

Attached question:

1、What are the benefits of meditation?

Answer: Meditation can temporarily enter that relaxed and pleasant state, but this state is a state produced by our six senses, or a primary state of qigong. It is at the primary level of practice and is a regulation of the psychology, but it cannot achieve self-nature regulation.

2、Do you need someone to guide your beginners?

Answer: Those who are just starting to practice need to have a simple boat raft, but that is just a bridge, just a boat raft. When crossing the bridge and the river, you must give up that method.Because every time you cross a river, you have to give up a boat and raft so that you can make progress. If you don’t let go, you’re burden. For example, meditation, hypnosis, and yoga are all simple boats and rafts. It is OK to use this simple boat to raft across the river and ditches. If you cross a big river, the raft will not work at all.So when we cross a river, we have to take the corresponding boat, which means we have to use the corresponding method to make ourselves progress.

At the beginning, I didn’t understand Buddhism or practice, so it’s better to use simple things like meditation.Because this kind of meditation was first used in Qigong to develop one's own heavenly eyes.

When I preach in every place, I didn’t use any hypnosis, music, or induced sounds. I was just explaining the scriptures. For example, when I was telling you the Diamond Sutra, many people present would fall asleep and snore like thunder. They could naturally see the Buddha and see the light. As soon as he finished speaking the scriptures, he immediately opened his eyes, but he could hear every word he said very clearly, but he had no choice but to sleep.

The energy of the universe is incredible. When you can use the energy of the universe, everyone can also receive the blessing of the universe. You will not use the energy of the universe. When you use the voice of an ordinary person to mediate the six senses of others, that is just the lowest level of thing, which is Qigong.

I started to learn martial arts at the age of seven or eight, practiced qigong at the age of thirteen or fourteen, practiced Taoist Hunyuan Yiqi and Shaolin Yijin Jing at the age of fifteen or sixteen. When I was twenty years old, I felt that qigong was so high, and something in my heart told me that if I could not get high, I could not get up any more. There would be a voice in my nature telling myself to turn to learn something else.

Later, I started to learn Chinese Taoist things. After practicing Taoist magic for a few years, I felt that it was not the ultimate one, because it was still a conditioned law. Later, I entered Buddhism and felt that these principles that the Buddha said were very good.

If you can combine the Tao and Buddhism to practice, you will make great progress.

3、How to seek inaction in humanity?

Answer: How to seek inaction in humanity? For example, when you eat and sleep every day, no one will force you to force yourself. It is natural. When you do it naturally, we can say that it is called inaction.Because I don’t need to be attached to myself in my acquired mind, I have to go to eat or sleep.

From the perspective of practice, everything in the world is a matter of activity. If you want to practice inaction without activity, you will not be able to do it.What is the reason for being hidden in the city? A true wish is a big heart and a big heart means saving sentient beings in the human world, not in the deep mountains.Compared with ordinary people, it is also very good for those who practice in the mountains to calm their minds.

If you can achieve calmness and inaction in a lively life in the human world, then that is called inaction. In other words, in humanity, you are all a normal mind, a non-attached mind, an inaction mind, and a pure mind.At this time, you will slowly move closer to Wuwei. It doesn’t mean that you really jump out of the three realms and are not in the five elements, that is nothing, that’s just a literal understanding.

Jigong, he uses the law of inaction every day because he has a pure mind.A pure mind means inaction. When you do not cling to the Dharma image or the right and wrong of others, it is called inaction.

If you stick to it for the sake of attachment, then it is not even effective. Therefore, the difference between being active and being inaction lies in the mentality. The mind is always pure and stable. When you treat people and things without falling behind, it is called the mind of inaction, and it is called the body of inaction. It does not mean that if you really leave this world, it is called the inaction. The law that practices the universe is called the inaction law, which is wrong! The only way to reason is the difference between the inaction law and the inaction law.I have told you all these two days from beginning to end, it’s just a mentality.

Your mind is pure and you will not have any concerns when doing anything.A concern is a persistent heart.A mind with attachment will have troubles and delusions. If afflictions and delusions are called action. When you have no delusions and no worries, and reach a pure and inaction mind, it is called the law of inaction.

Inaction and doing everything means that when the mind reaches purity and inaction, you can do everything, but don’t be attached.Being attached will bring troubles.

Inaction and action are in terms of mentality. It does not mean that you really leave this world. Leaving people is called inaction. That is all wrong understanding. Many people put their wrong understanding on the table and talk to others. In the end, they are all fake. This is called "non-speaking", not real sayings.

To be honest, it refers to everyone's heart and everyone's nature. When you reach pure and inaction, although you are still in the human way, everything you do in the human way is full of traces, just like water without traces, that is, you do not care about him or stick to him.

If you are attached to this matter, it will be bad, and the future consequences will be troublesome. This result is evil because there are delusions and troubles. When you have no delusions and no worries, when you reach pure and inaction, your self-nature will also reach the law of inaction.

Eat when you are hungry and sleep when you are sleepy. What a comfortable and inaction. The sky should be placed as the bed of the earth, and everything should be free and easy. This all refers to the mentality. The mentality is truly unbound. The one I said is not bound by killing people, setting fires, robbery, not asking you not to abide by the laws of the world. The self-nature is inaction that is not bound by anything. If you have already understood it in your own nature, you will naturally live more comfortably.

For example, when you help a person, you do not want to get rewards from him, but you just really want to help the person get out of trouble. When you have this mentality, you start to plant good thoughts and blessings. This kind of mentality is more relaxed and comfortable, doing it, and not leaving it behind. Therefore, having action and inaction are in mind.

4、How can we achieve dual cultivation of Zen and Pure Land?

Answer: Zen requires one's own mind and nature. When one's own mind and nature reach liberation in everything, one can also obtain Zen.Zen is something that comes naturally to the universe, and it also refers to the natural Dharma of Zen.Pure Land is the method of chanting Amitabha Buddha in Pure Land.Their essence is to cultivate bodhicitta and to cultivate the pure and inaction Buddha's mind. In the end, they will return to the Buddha's kingdom and recite Amitabha Buddha.Reciting Amitabha Buddha is reciting one's own origins.Who is Amitabha Buddha in the West outside? It is called Amitabha Buddha, which is the Great Sun Tathagata.

Both Zen and Pure Land practices are all pure minds. Once your mind can be truly purified, you can understand everything. You will naturally be reborn without any Dharma. Sakyamuni Buddha did not say what sect he was, he just established a monastic community. It is precisely because ordinary people don’t understand that they need all the Pure Land Methods, Zen Methods, Tantric Methods, Tiantai Methods, Vinaya Methods and other methods.

The dual practice of Zen and Pure Land is to observe the daily changes of one's own nature. When the troubles come up, you must see how it comes up and how it disappears. If you get rid of troubles with your troubled mind, then you are an ordinary person. If your mind follows your worries and can observe how worries come about, and then find a way to make them disappear, you are not charming.

There is no difference between practicing Zen and Pure Land, practicing Zen and Secretariat, and practicing Pure Land. It is all about observing one's own heart.

6、The issue of taking precepts as a teacher?

Answer: At the beginning, Sakyamuni Buddha only decided not to kill.Because Sakyamuni Buddha has great magic power, many heretics and robbers also come to learn from the Buddha, but their habits are very large and they make many mistakes, so they later set some precepts.

The precepts set by Sakyamuni Buddha are mainly a way to protect practitioners. The ability to keep the 250 precepts of monks and the 498 precepts of nuns is all for keeping their pure mind. For example, when drinking, if Sakyamuni Buddha does not establish this precept, you can drink casually. When you drink nonsense, you will be impure, which will bring trouble to yourself and friends.

Sakyamuni Buddha saw some phenomena and formulated corresponding precepts. The precepts are the same as the laws of the world. If you don’t kill, set fire, and rob, the Public Security Bureau will not come to you, and you will naturally feel pure and at ease in your heart. If you come to you every day, you will feel troubled and afraid.

If you can keep the precepts, you will naturally be pure, your body will be pure, and your mind will be pure. The precept is an anther bar. If you jump out of this box, your body and mind will be impure. Many people cannot keep the precepts because their nature is confused. If you are a person with high aptitude, you do not need precepts because you know how to do it yourself. You do not precepts and do it naturally.

7、《Can Travels in Heaven and Hell be used as a guide to practice?

Answer: The travel notes written by Kuanjing were written by his own acquired thinking and innate thinking, which is something integrated from his seventh consciousness. It is not said that it is all true or false, it is something that is mixed with true or false, because he is a Buddhist practitioner and talks about some Buddhist principles, but it can be seen from it that acquired thinking is involved.

《Travels in Heaven and Travels in Hell are revealed because of his realm. They are only suitable for purifying oneself, not necessarily suitable for others. If you practice and practice according to this thing, then you will be the corresponding purity. purity refers to human things.

You must practice according to the words of Sakyamuni Buddha. You are in the corresponding universe, because Sakyamuni Buddha talks about everything from the universe. There is no one about Sakyamuni Buddha himself. What Sakyamuni Buddha talked about was the universe, and there was no one about Sakyamuni Buddha himself. If you like Lao Tzu's books, you are also things that correspond to the universe, and you do not have things that correspond to Lao Tzu's own.
