Then he asked the Buddhist scholar and told him: "The body has life and death, and the spiritual nature is revolving, and the Buddha nature is still alive and undying, and it is not dead or born.If you do not see the Buddha nature, the Buddha nature will revolve according to the view, hearing, feeling and knowing.If you see that the Buddha nature is full of the void, you will see, hear, feel and know the spiritual nature becomes Buddha nature.”

How to see Buddha nature?Buddhists cannot answer.

Don’t be greedy for beauty, food, and happiness, practice asceticism, and never regret it.2. Study all the classics of the Three Sects and practice meditation with painstaking efforts.3. Use what you have learned to speak and demonstrate and guide, and benefit all living beings.In addition to reading the sutras every day, the master recites the Buddha's name five thousand times, recites the "Avatamsaka Sutra", "Nirvana", and "Lingyun". When he has free time, he worships the "Perfect Awakening Sutra" as his lesson.

Master Jing, the master, told me, "As you practice, you can be at home, so why should you become a monk?That is, it is not a monk's appearance. It is the duty of becoming a monk to practice the method of moving forward.”

Teach the topic of "all things return to one, where does one return to one?"He was taught by "Transferring the Lamp Record", "Five Lamps and the First" and "Shi Yue Record".The master has seen some knowledge, some unknown.The teacher likes Linji's words the most, and how to work hard is still slim.The master followed Master to learn the religions of Tiantai, Xianshou and Ci'en.At the age of twenty-two, he visited the associations to preach and preach, and listened to it.At the invitation of Jinling, he taught the Lankavatara Dharma Assembly.

The master showed his words to the public: "Sentient beings are originally Buddhas, but because of ignorance and delusion, they cannot escape from birth and death;If one can break a part of ignorance and delusion, one can realize one part of the Dharma body.The ignorance and delusions are destroyed and the Dharma body is revealed.”

At that time, there was an enlightened and noble servant in the Dharma Assembly and asked, "If ignorance comes from outside and has nothing to do with you, why bother to break it?If a delusion arises from the inside, it is like the source of water from the dragon pond. Water is always born, and it will be broken and then born, and there will be no time.Practice and eliminate false thoughts, this principle really doesn’t work!The ancients said: "The law of a king is nothing more than human feelings."'Buddhism is nothing more than human feelings. False thoughts are eliminated and false thoughts are the Buddha nature. False thoughts arise and sentient beings. Isn't it that becoming a Buddha also has reincarnation?”

The teacher cannot answer.He asked again: "The master has never understood the mind and saw the nature, and there is no such word in the sutra. This word is obtained from the annotation.People who see the nature will explain the classics, and the journey will be good.People who do not see their nature annotate the classics, saying that they face the south and the north, pull the east and make up for the west, and reverse right and wrong.whether?”

The master replied, “That’s right."The master bowed to the temple and told the Buddhists how to understand the mind and nature.

Zunsu told: "This grammar master can ask the craftsman of the Iron Rock of Niushou Mountain, who is the one who has realized the truth.”

Shi Xing went to ginseng at night and asked Yan, "What is the old monk doing here?”

Yan said, "Dress, eat, sleep, and enjoy the mountains and rivers.”

The master replied, "It's a pity that you've been idle."”

Yan said, "I can be idle, you can't learn from me. If you go to that field, you can learn from me.”

The master asked, "What is that field?"”

Rock pointed at it.The master replied, "I don't know.”

The master asked, "I will eliminate all my false thoughts now, and I will not stay there or not. Is it a field?”

Yan said, "No!This is the state of ignorance that has no beginning.”

The master asked, "The ancestor Linji said that it was ignorant and dark pit, which was really scary.whether?”

Yan told, “Yes."The master told Buddhists how to work hard to understand their minds and nature.

Yan said, "You should not stop your false thoughts. Use your eyes to look back at the deep pit of darkness and darkness without stagnation. Do not stop walking, standing, sitting, and lying. When the cause and condition arrives, the ignorance and darkness and darkness will be clear. Once you break it, you can understand your mind and see your nature.”

When the master heard this, he was like drinking nectar.As a result, he worked hard day and night, showing his haggardness and thin bones as thin as firewood.At a middle night, I heard the sound of the wind blowing the leaves of the sycamore tree outside the window, and suddenly realized it.I was sweating all over the body.

He said, "Oh!It turns out that it is neither green nor white, neither meditation nor chanting Buddha's name, nor death or death, nor impermanence and speed.”

He said in a verse: "There were no Buddhas or sentient beings, and there was no one in the world;Is it true that it is this, whether one’s nature is born by oneself."Looking out the window, it was clear that there was no cloud, and the moon was in the sky during the fourth update.

After a few days, the master went to ask Yan again and said, "I don't want to use the method of practicing.Please confirm by the old monk.”

Yan raised his crutch and tried to beat the teacher, "What's the intention of Caoxi without seeing Huangmei?"”

The master replied, "The old monk wants to beat someone.”

Yan asked again, "What is the intention after seeing the future?"”

The master replied again, "The old monk wants to beat someone.”

Rock nodded.The master will report what he has learned.

Yan told me, "I have realized enlightenment. I will prove it to you for your sake. You can verify it again by "Chuan Denglu".Your great work is over. If you have the chance to preach the scriptures and Dharma, you can live with the fate. If you don’t have the chance to live with the fate.”

The master confirmed the "Transmission of Lanterns", "Tracing the Moons", "Five Lanterns and the "Avatamsaka Sutra" and the "Avatamsaka Sutra" to understand it in a comprehensive way, just like the family members speak at home.The master will follow the "Avatamsaka Sutra" in the future: Buddha nature always adheres to its true nature, without any change, and never changes;The Buddha nature is free from contamination, unobstructed and unsatisfactory, and uninfected;The Buddha nature does not have false thoughts, but false thoughts arise from seeing, hearing, feeling, and knowing the spiritual nature;Eliminate the four diseases of stopping, acting, voluntarily and eliminating, keep delusions, use one thought to break the beginningless ignorance, and see the Buddha nature as the main thing.

The master’s lectures are all revealed from his own nature, without looking at the annotations of others.The teacher's descendants took the lecture banquets of Sichuan, Hunan, Hubei, Jiangxi, Anhui, Fujian, Guangdong, Shaanxi, Gansu, Beijing, Shanghai, Ping, Tianjin, Shandong, Jin, Henan, Re, Zhejiang, Hangzhou, Qing, Xiang, and Ao for decades, and gave more than 250 lectures, one for one lecture.

The teacher is a transcendent and likes to travel, such as traveling to Zhongnan, Taibai, Xiangshan, Huashan, Emei, Jiuhua, Putuo, Wutai, Taishan, Songshan, Huangshan, Wudang, Kuanglu, Maoshan, Mogan, Yushan, Hengshan, Luofushan, etc.I travel deep in the clouds and forget to return for months.Wherever you go, there must be a poem.When a master is good at playing the seven-stringed lyrics, he must carry the lyrics with him when he travels to the mountains.

The teacher's ethics are profound and he can measure his own people. He does not interact with worldly laws. He has great nature and a bright style. Even the ancient scholars and heroes are all convinced of their profoundness.The teacher's poems have clouds and clouds, but no smoke and fireworks.

When the master was old, he raised his finger and preached to his disciples, "Come from the vast universe, Buddha Kashyapa Shakyamuni;Go from the fullest void, Amitabha Buddha.All the Buddhas of ancient and modern times are on the fingers of the old monk, and they will not come or come;The old monk was also on his fingers, not coming or not.If you can recognize and grasp it, you will be where you can settle down.”

He said: "I have been preaching the scriptures for decades, and I have saved thousands of births without births;Wait for the end of the world in the future and the vast freedom of the void.”

The master asked his disciples: "Those who are born from causes and conditions will be born and destroyed;The self-nature is originally without birth, and there is no birth or death."If you have to live and die, you will have a place to go. If you are lying down, you will choose outside the south gate of Kunming, behind Dujiaying Village, the sun of Mount Race, and look at Kunming Lake.The teachers and students have not yet passed away the disciples, and there are more than 160,000 disciples who convert to the country.The teacher teaches his disciples to practice the method of chanting Buddha's name.Eight disciples who have enlightened the truth under the master's seat: Wutai Jizhen, Mingjing Zunsu, Li Guangquan, and lay Buddhist Zhou Yunfa, Shanghai.The other four have abandoned the world.

The master wrote "The Vimalakirti Sutra", "The Lankavatara Sutra", "The Perfect Enlightenment Sutra", "The Diamond Sutra", and "The Heart Sutra" spread to the north."Buddhist Outlook on Life" and "Buddhist Questions and Answers" are spread in the south.And "The Eight Mahayana Sects of Practice", "The Absolute Treatise on Mahayana", "The Quotes on Yuexi", "Meditation on Meditation", "Reciting Buddha's name and practicing", and "Song of Fengtang Qin".
