Since we are the same as Buddha and everything is complete, why can’t we benefit from it today?That is because our own light is covered by delusion and attachment.If you want to see the light of our own nature, you must eliminate delusions, but delusions are really not easy to eliminate.In order to help us eliminate delusions, Sakyamuni Buddha taught various methods. The 84,000 methods are nothing more than to cure these delusions and habits. The most commonly used in China are chanting Buddha's name, chanting mantras, chanting sutras, and chanting koans under the sect.

In the meditation hall, you must calm down your crazy mind by practicing this method according to the sect.Zen Master Damei Fachang studied Mazu and asked Mazu: What is Buddha?Mazu said: It is the mind and the Buddha.When Zen Master Damei got this sentence, his mind had a rest.We can also hear this sentence today, but is there any place for our hearts to rest?Can you rest?cannot.Because we have too many habits.This heart cannot rest, and in the end there is no way. The ancestors and Bodhisattvas left us this sentence, allowing us to rest all these delusional minds and correspond to the topic.

We often talk about koans, so what is koans?Words are what we say, and we are heads before we speak.Now we chant this Buddha's name Amitabha. Before we chant, it is the beginning, and when we chant it, it is the end. The chore is the moment when a thought has not arisen. Where this thought has not arisen, it is not arisen, there is no drowsiness, no restlessness, and long-lasting illumination, neither birth nor death, which is our own nature.So we must use it from here.

It is definitely difficult to learn first, because we have become accustomed to delusions since time immemorial.It is definitely not easy to work hard now and ask for a topic. Although it is not easy, you still have to do it.When raising this doubt, do not use force or breath.Because using force can easily cause inflammation, it will be very uncomfortable to use energy.Therefore, you need to use awareness to know that your thought is enough. Don’t touch it. It’s gone. You can mention it again.

Once you have delusions come, you will be able to notice them.Once delusion comes, we raise our awareness and delusion passes.Gradually, my skills became more and more effective, and my delusions became less and less.In the end, there will be no delusions and your skills will be completed.

The parrot asked him: I'm going to come from the West, I'm going to come from the West, please tell me how to come out of the cage.Master Bodhidharma replied: "You can get out the cage plan, you can get out the cage plan, and you can stretch your legs and close your eyes. This is your plan to get out the cage!"When the parrot heard it, it stretched out its legs and closed its eyes. When the owner came back, he saw that the parrot stopped moving and thought it was dead, so he took it out and placed it on his palm. When the owner let go, it flew away immediately.

In fact, this is also a manifestation, telling us that we should be like a dead person when doing kung fu.A dead person is lying there, and he will not care about you when you beat him or scold him, so you must do this as well as doing kung fu.You must be able to withstand the annoyance and endure the hardships.Only in this way can we correspond to the Tao and have a share of life and death.
