We often ignore the present state and ignore the things outside the Zen room when worshiping Buddha in the Buddhist temple.When we repent, beat wooden fish or ring the bell, it will affect others; but if you do not consider others, you only see yourself practicing.Such practice will have obstacles, will not benefit you much, and will not have any good impact on other people's lives.

When practicing, all external and present phenomena should be very related to the Dharma we practice. If we do not fully combine the Dharma practice with daily life, then our achievements in practicing Dharma will not be too great and will be of little help to us.

This meaning means that no matter whether you repent or recite the Buddha's name, you can practiceMeditationIt’s okay, you must combine it with your current real life and work. In this way, you can achieve greater success by practicing the Dharma.That is, we combine our thoughts with the practice. If our practice and daily life and work become two parallel lines, and are carried out separately and have nothing to do with each other, you will not be able to do both well.Practice and life are not two lines, they should be one line. You must combine your mind with real life into one. Such practice will be of great help to you.

In real life, we have thoughts all day long. If you cannot combine Buddhism with the work you are doing now and the life you are facing, and to use what you say in the doctrine, your mind cannot change the objective and realistic environment, and cannot apply Buddhism to the real environment, so the role of practice is not very great.

We often say that faith and believe in Buddhism. Do you have faith? Do you believe in Buddhism? These two meanings are one.Believing in Buddhism is faith, and faith means believing in Buddhism, but we often separate our minds from Buddha, and our understanding will not be strong if we separate them.We often say that the mind is Buddha, and Buddha is heart. We must believe in our own heart. Do you have faith? We generally say: Do you have faith? It seems to mean believing in Buddhism. It is not like this, but believing in your own heart.

When we talk about the Avatamsaka Sutra, we will tell everyone: "You must believe that you are the Velucida Buddha. In this way, you can learn the Avatamsaka Sutra in order to learn it."It means that when you recite Amitabha Buddha, you must believe that you are Amitabha Buddha, "My Heart Buddha andAll living beings,There is no difference between the three."This is not a sentence, but that you can be combined with your heart when you do it, which is called having faith; if you do not have this faith and cannot become a Buddha, it is not true that you believe in Buddhism. Believing in Buddhism means believing in your own heart.

When you recite Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, you become the incarnation of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. Have you done this kind of visualization? When you recite Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, you are the incarnation of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. I am not talking casually.Ksitigarbha Sutra》The people who come to gather in the first chapter are all taught by Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, come out of the six realms, and even become Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, all of them are the incarnations of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.Because your heart and the Buddha's heart are already combined. When you recite Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, you are the incarnation of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. When you recite Amitabha Buddha, you are the incarnation of Amitabha Buddha.

This problem is the most important problem in your practice, not a small problem.If you use this mind to formulate what you do in one day and guide everything you have with the Buddha's heart, then what you do is all Buddhist affairs, that is, your mind, the Buddha's heart, and the Buddha's cause. When doing this, you do not have the heart to seek benefits, the heart to be blessed, and the heart to be blessed. Why? Because all of this is possessed by your own mind, and you use your own mind to bless your own mind, this is from the perspective of the heart.
