True renunciation is a kind of courage to face and take responsibility, and there is nothing to be afraid of.Our troubles come from attachment, which means not letting go and not thoroughly understanding the cycle of cause and effect. Why is the Buddha so compassionate and "compassion without cause"? Because he is wise.

What is the wisdom of Buddha? Know the suffering of cause and effect, the suffering of reincarnation, and the confusion of sentient beings.Why are sentient beings reincarnated? It is because they are confused.

In fact, reincarnation, Nirvana, Pure Land, Saha world, Buddha, and ordinary people are like the back of their hands and palms.The back of the hand is an ordinary person, and the palm of the hand is a Buddha when turned over.The back of the hand is reincarnation, and turning it over will make Nirvana.The back of the hand is the Saha world, and the palm of the hand is the Pure Land.

Why did Guanyin Bodhisattva transform into thousands of hands and thousands of eyes, see sentient beings with one thousand eyes, and save sentient beings with one thousand hands? This is a great vow of great compassion and mercy, to eliminate the pain of sentient beings and to give sentient beings happiness.Compassion is to remove pain, compassion is to give happiness, and together they are called compassion.

Why do Hinayana practitioners practice on the mountain? Because they cannot accept these external environments.He has compassion, but he does not have great compassion, so he dare not face it.But Mahayana is different. Mahayana practitioners practice in the world.

Why is it called a Bodhisattva Mahasattva? Mahasattva has the meaning of a warrior. In Tibet, the Bodhisattva means "a warrior of the soul". Why is it called a warrior? It means daring to face it.He has great compassion. If he wants to save sentient beings, he must go to society and face these right and wrong.

You cannot abandon these sentient beings, otherwise you will not be warriors or Bodhisattvas and Mahasattvas.Ignorance and confusion are a kind of nature of sentient beings. Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are compassionate to sentient beings and accept sentient beings. Through various skillful and skillful means, they will be soft and hard when they should be hard.Why do we see the statues of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in silence and anger? That is skillful and convenient! When you need to be tough, be tougher; when you need to be softer, be softer.

Skillful convenience is very important.You cannot be soft forever, that will not save sentient beings; but if you are always hard, you cannot save sentient beings.Therefore, we must save sentient beings through various skillful means.Some sentient beings can be saved in this life, some sentient beings can be saved in the next life, and many sentient beings can only be saved in life.But Buddhas and Bodhisattvas will not abandon a sentient being.

Modern people do not understand Buddhism and even slander Buddhism. In this case, we should not give up any of them like Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.We must make a vow: May all sentient beings encounter the Dharma, and may I be able to guide and save sentient beings when I become a Buddha in the future.

You must develop a kind heart everywhere and make good relationships everywhere, so that there will be fewer bad relationships and more good relationships.

Some Buddhas have a wider range of benefits to sentient beings, while others have a smaller range of benefits to sentient beings. This is related to the power of vows.

For example, there are two types of Pratyekabuddhas. One of them is that a person is alone in a place. Although he has achieved success, he has not saved all living beings.This is related to his wish and power when he is in the causal realm.Those who practice Mahayana Buddhism should be merciful, compassionate, treat and save sentient beings.

To practice, you must learn Buddhism and practice while working. Practicing while working is the method of practicing Mahayana, and you must study and practice this method well.

Only by using Buddhism to change and correct us can Buddhism save us.There is absolutely no problem when we can work and live with Buddhism, and it will only get better and better.Buddhism is a way of living, and life, work, marriage, and family affection are all practices.

OK, change your mindset and change your life.These are really very important. They are not things in this life, but things in every life, and are top priority.As for the things in the world, you will enjoy the greater the blessings you have. Don’t force them too much. They are all impermanent cause and effect and cannot be taken away.How much can you eat and how much can you wear? At that time, except for karma, it is all from others and society.

Any kind of karma has four kinds of consequences.If you will have so much benefit in this life, it must be that you gave alms in your previous life; if you are willing to give and willing to give alms in this life, this is also the result of giving alms in your previous life.No matter how much you pursue and give, you can't get it; some people can't get it without giving too much.Why? This is a cultivation.It’s the same everywhere, have more good intentions and multiple good roots, and all good roots and merits are stored in the Alaya consciousness and in the bank of the Dharma Realm, so that you can have them forever, no matter where you are.What you have now is just in a region or a space, not comprehensive.Many people still don’t understand this principle and still don’t believe it deeply.In fact, the more you pay for sentient beings, the more rewards you will get, and this will not be false.Whether at home, in unit, or in society, giving more for sentient beings is definitely a matter of immeasurable merit.
